Red Roof Inn & Suites Houma

I liked and chose it for the fact that they allow pets and for no additional cost. The rooms do not have carpet which is great when you have pets.

No breakfast (I understand with Covid), and although it didn't effect me personally if I wanted to swim I would be upset that the pool isn't open.

The elevator didn¿t work half the time. Police had to be called. Staff member parked in handicap space. Could have had their pool open but didn¿t. No breakfast. Other places severing in Houma but not there. Not even coffee in the lobby. Was the worst

TV was broke, door didn¿t lock, no hot water , blood stain on comforter , ac was leaking so water on the floor. Never received a new comforter

Door wouldn't close nothing in the room work only gave us one bed wood for people and couldn't find a cot and refused to bring us a blanket.

There is nothing good to say about this hotel. It's a dump. Sign says to wear a mask but nobody here does. Not the receptionist,owner, or maids. I asked why and the Hotel employee said we are strong here. Strong super spreaders

No sheets on one bed. Only a oil stained sheet on the other. No trash can. No Kleenex and a quarter roll of TP. TV didn't work same for most rooms.Have not worked in over three months. Heater and air conditioning didn't work. Dirt on the walls. The worst

He didn’t work the room wasn’t clean the garbage cans do a trash in it

Hair dryer didn’t work, tub drained extremely slow so we were standing in ankle deep water, king size bed sunk in the middle, bathroom door hook fell off. Clerk said because of renovations in hotel nothing could be corrected.

The entire hotel smelled like marijuana, the room was filthy, room next door had a party all night and when I complained at 130 am their mom who worked at the desk came screaming and cussing at me for complaining about her kids. This continued all night.

The gentleman who checked us in on our first night was very courteous and helpful and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. Also, the maintenance man was very courteous and helpful.

Lack of cleanliness; lack of housekeeping service, only replaced towels, emptied trash; didn't make bed or clean the bathroom or replenish the coffee. There for 3 nights, they only came after the 2nd night after I complained after the 1st night.

Didn’t like our room it stunk ice box leaked water all over the floor mildew all over in the bathroom. Bed spread covers had blood like stains on them. Ac barely worked and hallway stunk of marijuana all night long guests waking around Smoking marijuana

I like the location and cost. The front desk person was helpful.

I was disappointed in my room, my bedding was soiled with hair and blood. The person at the desk was nice and gave us another set. Also, the floors weren’t swept, hair was everywhere in the bathroom.

Wasn’t the room I ordered. The sheets were really stained. The whole hotel smelled of weed. Seemed like a hotel to go to and party. People were loud.

Value and Location

My room was located by an entrance door that slammed all day and most of night. The floor was wet and slippery. The fridge made a noise resembling a rat but none observed. Dirty towel on the shower rod. Too noisy d/t location. 1st room. 1st floor

Location and Price

My 1st room had 6 medium sized bugs in it. 1 behind the bed, 1 under the table, 1 on the window sill, and 3 on the floor in front the A/C. I requested another room. This room had a cockroach which I'm afraid of. I phoned the clerk who did kill it.

Staff was awesome and very helpful and gracious.

Our bed was dirty upon arrival. Mud on pillowcases and sheets (dog paws) as well as long hair in the bed. Gross. Front desk immediately took care of it and apologized profusely. She checked new room to be sure it was clean before giving it to us. :).

Is is a great stay near lots of things that are needed to get to.

Booking it said bed size would vary I was given a twin and when asked could I change she said I couldn't so we were 2 people in a twin. Close to 10am the power went out I had to go to a family members home to get ready for work. Usually my stay is OK.

There was no reservation when I got there and no rooms available. Had to go to next hotel down the road who had a room available. Won't be staying here again

I stay here once a month, never any problems. Friendly staff, clean facility, great value.

I was worried that the hotel may not be the cleanest. My worries were unfounded. Tje rooms were clean, the staff were super friendly, and the location was convenient. I was impressed to say the least.

Breakgast could have been a little better, but that was it.
