    Pros +

    • The location was great - very close to campus - and the hotel was clean and well appointed. The free hot breakfast was also very nice.
    • The only thing i liked about this property is that it was 5-6min from the assembly where the graduation were held and not far from the restaurant “The Chimes” the breakfast was ok. It was set up as buffet style but was not buffet
    • Nice location and very clean

    Cons -

    • Before we arrived, the hotel decided to upgrade my two queen reservation to a room with one king. This was not what I reserved and did not work for me, as there were four of us. Of course no queen rooms were left when we arrived. Not really an upgra
    • Room 328 shower was so bagged up it took over an hr for the water to drain out that we had to call someone in to pump it with a plunger. Had to leave the room door open to get air from the living room area because it was extremely stuffy and hott. Did not sleep well
    • Air conditioner didn’t work well

The fact that it is on campus

It was not clean and had a musty smellSome of the staff were unhelpful and did not respect the customer’s timeThe breakfast was simply unacceptableNo water in the room and there are no food options in a two mile radius.

The food was good and it was in a nice atmosphere. Aria was very kind at the front desk. This was much nicer than I expected and I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer!

I didn't like that the hotel added a fee for the campus and a campus tax without my knowledge. The whole reason I couldn't stay longer was lack of funds and then to lose an unexpected additional $20 was very disheartening.

Everything is spotless staff is super nice breakfast is Awsome it is kept full of hot food no wait people cleaning the dinning area non stop !!!

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The facilities are very nice, and the location is excellent. Lovely views of the LSU campus, lake is right across the street and location is nice and quiet. The breakfast was great.

The room size and facilities were good but it was all hard surfaces and inadequate lighting. The room (maid) service was good and the front-desk staff were very good. Car parking was handy.

The big issue is that the hotel was still living in Pandemic times. Everything was stripped back to the basics from no soft furnishings in the rooms to no resstaurant and no bar. The only eating (hardly 'dining') facility was an un-supervised contracted-out basic breakfast service with very limited items on offer - hardly a 'choice' here, more of a take-it-or-leave-it set-up which when the supply had been taken thatnit was gone for the day and the area closed off. This was bad, very bad - and there was supposed to be a bar but in my 5-day stay I never found it open, the result being that the place was dead and lacked personality for what was potentially a 4-star hotel.

Breakfast was great , location to other food was perfect , 5 mins away ..

Pool service , no towels available and pool area closed at 10pm … we were told to leave or leave the hotel … unfortunately, we didn’t use the pool as much as we wanted too:

The breakfast was very good with great options, and the location was perfect. The stay was beautiful and peaceful and close enough to all the attractions of both colleges and city attractions.

I think the pool area could’ve been better, but with it just being me and my husband it was fine, but had we brought along the grandkids they would have been looking for a larger pool

Staff were friendly and room was comfortable.

    Breakfast was poor.

We stayed here for a campus tour and the location was perfect. We could walk to anywhere on the campus. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful with answering questions. The breakfast buffet was an added bonus.

I have stayed here often. All of the staff is like family. Breakfast is great, giftshop is nice. The coffee is always going. The proximity to LSU is perfect. I prefer to stay here for all of my visits to Baton Rouge. It is secure and offers plenty additional space to bring guests for entertaining and spaces for my remote work.

Some of the rooms are getting outdated, and the plumbing is getting quirky. Never can get the towel and washcloth count perfect. But overall great experience.

Few guests so the selection at breakfast was scaled down - which makes sense

6 different TV channels in the breakfast room seemed a little much - I guess it could be done if each table allowed selection of the channel on a speaker on the table

great location, very nice atmosphere and decor

    nothing wrong!

Being on the LSU campus, beautiful rock walks around the lake across the street

No hot water for our shower

Excellent breakfast choice and friendly staff.

Wish the pool would have been opened.
