The majority of the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. the front desk, and in house cleaning and the staff in the breakfast area were phenomenal.

We had a problem with my staff member that entered our room twice without knocking. Instead of apologizing when my husband confronted her after the second time she did it, she tried to cover it up by saying the door was cracked.

Elevator broken 1 was down then someone got stuck in 2nd and then it was broken alsi

Location

Room wasn't up to the usual Hampton standards. Had to remake the bed several times due to poorly fitting sheets. A/C was barely working and no maintenance on site mid day. Little to no concern from staff.

Good location, wonderful view of the Mississippi River from our room, great price, definitely met our needs.

Continental breakfast could have offered more variety

The view is great from anywhere! We have stayed a few times now and it displays downtown Baton Rouge so well.

not able 2 stay bc u charged my acct 394 AND dble booked room at midnite when i was walking out of parking garage, i pd $10, 2 tell me the room was no longer available. the lady i spoke with at your co said id hAve full refund 24 hr max. Stil no refund

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Good location for travel!

Parking was in the garage across the street with a mandatory fee of $11. Breakfast was average.

We had a balcony that faced the river. The view was fantastic.

The breakfast offering was on the pitiful side.

CLEANLINESS,CLEANLINESS, CLEANLINESS!! THERE SHOULD NOT BE MILDEW EVERYWHERE ESPECIALLY SINCE EVERY HOTEL IS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING COVID-19 ANTIBACTERIAL CLEANING. THEY WOULD HAVE HAD TO SEE ROOM 232 WAS MOLDY AND HAD POSSIBLY BLOOD ON CURTAINS

Location and room size

The refrigerator didn’t work and housekeeping didn’t come as frequently as they should.

The bed and pillows were fantastically comfortable. Lots of towels in the bathroom. Free breakfast was amazing and employess ver personalble.

Be aware because I didn't see it but parking is extra unless you want to do street parking and I have had too much stolen from my car when I parked on the street.(not here but in life) So that's a surprise I wish had of known first.

The parking was a bit different when you were not told that it was only available in a garage.

They charged for uncovered parking in lot that is 10 feet from hotel. Parking garage for hotel also cost and distance to hotel unsafe for female to walk to and from alone.

This hotel deserves a higher rating than 2 1/2 stars. Great location, very clean and helpful staff.
