Fairfield Inn Manhattan

Comfortable pillows, hot showers, and free breakfast.

The daily hot breakfast was excellent and the ladies who served it were so friendly and welcoming! This hotel is also near two great museums and only a couple blocks from a cute old town with many breweries and restaurants.

Looks and smells very clean. Always fresh water and coffee available in lobby. Super friendly staff who are very helpful.

Where it was located

We weren't told that the linens were not to be changed during our 5 day stay. We had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. We had no housekeeping until I went to the front desk on the third day to have clean towels and the trash emptied.

Location, location,location. and we stumbled upon an accident. first time to Manhattan, and the prices were right.

The hotel's combination of amenities (breakfast, whirlpool, swimming pool, glass shower doors etc) and it's location are definite assets to staying here.

The bathroom door is so tight in the space that it can be difficult to share the bathroom space if and when needed.

Clean and friendly staff.

I do not think the ac was working as well as it could be and it was a window unit.

Hot tub out of order. No cable tv. We checked out a day early. Not the leave of service I expected.

Location! And, the pool and whirlpool after lots of physical activity!

Our rooms did not get refreshed. Had to go to front desk for towels and coffee.

Our room had bulbs out in the bathroom and thr ones that did work were dim. Our deadbolt also was not operational on the door

The helpfulness of the staff

Supplies like shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. were not replaced each time housekeeping was done for the room.

The location is a perfect walking distance to multiple downtown attractions. Thoroughly enjoy the swimming pool and whirlpool.

It would be helpful to have a multi-cup coffee pot in the rooms.

It was quiet.

The toilet seat was so loose that it would slide off sideways. My mother-in-law became a paraplegic because of a loose toilet seat. Also, there was only one battery in the TV remote. That should have been checked ahead of time as part of a routine.

The hotel is located in a beautiful plaza near everything. You can actually walk everywhere. I LOVE that about the hotel.

By far, the worst experience I ever had in a hotel. Room was dirty, no air conditioner, no wi-fi. Unfriendly personnel. When I did the check in I requested if I can stay in the room until 1:00pm. The knock the door at 11:00 and ask me to leave the room.

Hair in bed, bug in toilet, had a difficult time getting a different room and compensated

It was quiet and I was checked into a first floor room.

Drove past the front lobby door the first time--not clearly marked.

Newly remodeled, comfortable beds, great customer service, nice pool.

Wish they had EV charging.

I know it was a busy weekend but, we always look for a hot breakfast when we travel. Unfortunately they could not keep up with the demand and we didn't get any breakfast fruit and ceral was even out

They did not start there free breakfast until 7am on Saturday and we had to checkout before 7 to be on time fir the function we were attending I wish they would have had breakfast at 6am like they do during the week
