The Drake Oak Brook, Autograph Collection

I gave this as a gift to my son and his new wife for an overnight stay. They were pleasantly greeted and given complementary drinks and dessert. I appreciated the thoughtfulness.

Room was great! Staff was the the nicest! It was only 10 minutes from everything we wanted to do! I would go there again, again and again!

There was only one way in unlike most hotels where you can park closer to your room for easy access. That was a minor con.

The restaurant and bar were excellent.

The room itself. The pictures and description on the website were a blatant lie. I booked a King Deluxe room and the room I got was nothing like the images on their website. Paint splatter on the floor, broken lights switches, etc. This place is a dump.

They were absolutely so kind. So accommodating and they even upgraded my room upon arrival!!! Room service was available for everything including drinks and breakfast. This was the best hotel I've visited in some time. Thank you.

This hotel is stunning! The staff were very warm and welcoming. Each employee I encountered was so happy I was staying with them (due to covid-19 shutdowns). The room (king jr suite) was perfect and spacious. It was extremely clean and very welcoming.

Check in was friendly and simple. Check out was painless and expeditious. The room was clean and fully supplied. Fantastic Hotel.

We had no hot water when we first arrived.We had booked the room 3 months ahead and still had trouble signing in.I had to pay one hundred dollars for a deposit, usually a prestige hotel charge the credit card for any additional expenses. I would not be go

The hotel shows wear and is out dated. The decor is from anther day and is heavy and dark.

We could not shut the heater off and it was 86 degrees. We slept with window open. The aircondioner was not turned on. Really hot room

Liked the elegant atmosphere and the room was as cool as I like it. The outside terrace overlooking the fountain and garden was very nice.

The lounge entertainment, while very good, was a bit too loud for my comfort. We left the lounge to eat at the restaurant where we could hear the lounge entertainment pleasantly. But I would have liked to have a cocktail in the lounge.

The comfort of the bed and pillows are the best!. The room has microwave. The lobby has a cozy atmosphere. We like the jazz music entertainment. Lovely view from my room.

STRONG odor when I entered the room. Must have come from previous repair work. I ran the air conditioner & left for 5 hours. When I came back the strong odor vanished a bit. The breakfast hour was limited time. We didn't opt for brunch buffet. Expensive.

Old, dated and hallways and room smelled musty. Fitness center is terrible. Equipment is decades old.

It was surprisingly updated for such an established hotel. Lovely soft carpet, beautiful comfy bedding, large room, reasonable price for the value. Close to Oak Brook shopping mall. On a busy street but still plenty of pretty grounds to stroll.

Everything was clean and the staff very friendly, when I needed a plastic fork the desk clerk got me one.

I loved all the chandeliers and decor, my 17 year old son said he felt like he was on the Titanic.

The hotel is quiet and located close to shopping and restaurants. The lobby and bar are beautiful.

It is very old and needs some work. The drink prices in the bar are very high. Higher than most of the high end restaurants we ate in over the weekend.
