Sleep Inn Oakbrook Terrace - Chicago

The room showed real signs of wear. It was much better a couple of years ago. We likely won't be back until renovations occur.

Nothing blow dryer in room, no house phone in room, no Kleenex in room, no coffee cups in room

Breakfast and location

Bathroom sink was not draining but the front desk clerk fixed the issue Slight musty stuff smell when you first enter the room but eventually faded once the air conditioner was turned on

Breakfast was great. A lot of options.

The scent of the soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner is sandalwood. I am highly allergic to scents and this one caused a 2 day migraine. I did ask for something different, which they graciously provided. However, the scent remained in the room and hotel

The hotel and rooms have been renovated so everything is updated. They have a good breakfast

Wasn't the hotels fault but the people next to us were very loud and were smoking Pot so the smell got into our room, our room was ajoining to theirs. I went to the front desk to complain and they moved us to another room.

What I liked about this hotel is that it's not too far from I-80, and there was a Walgreens and a few restaurants within walking distance. Also, there was plenty of parking and the staff was very helpful.

Breakfast

The hallways smelled like strong orange scented cleaner. When we arrived to our room there was an unwrapped candy bar on the floor, a pill, a half drunk bottle of water and a can of wig adhesive. There was also hair on the sheets in one of the beds.

New , clean and friendly

No regular cream for coffee.

I didn't like it at all i checked out a hour later they didnt want to give me a receipt when i checked out at 10pm instead on my invoice said i checked out at 4am which isnt possible because I have to be at work at 3:30am

Close to expressway access and restaurants.

The elevator could have been maintained better. Cut my ankle on piece of loose metal at the floor level and the floor indicater lights were all out.

Clean and good bed

The door does not make contact with the floor and the larger gap lets a lot of light and hall/ other room noise into the room. It is easily fixed by putting those extra pillows in that area.
