Spark by Hilton Des Plaines Chicago O'Hare

For a three star hotel, I would have expected towel racks. When I inquired at the front desk, they did not care and basically shrugged off my complaint. In addition, the hair dryer was lying on the bathroom sink rather than attached to a wall.

I was staying there 3 nights. On the third day I found a old blood spot on the blanket and dirt. When I checked out told the front desk about.they just said I am sorry

Spider webs in the bathroom Sticky rugs and room smell really bad Hall ways bad smells Breakfast was horrible Bed really bad

Convenience to the event Good breakfast

There was a mildew smell in the entire hotel

Check in and out was quick and easy. The shuttle to and from the airport was great!

The bar of soap on the soap dish by the sink was open.

Location

The bathroom in our room got flooded as soon as we used it. They came to clean it but the toilet did not work again after. The sink was very low. The bathroom is small. Very disappointing for the price we paid.

Quiet.

Outlet by the sink did not work (thus, hair dryer was unusable). There were no USB plug-ins available.

The room had a very bad smell to it. It's in a residential neighborhood so if you need some personal items you may have forgotten there's no store near by. Also they don't have a restaurant in the building and only one restaurant next to the hotel.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting my room had used underwear just lying in the middle of the floor that tells me that nobody came by and clean that room there were wrappers all under the side of the bed housekeeping did a terrible job.

The room was absolutely disgusting there was stain underwear off the side of the bed there were wrappers underneath the bed it was as though housekeeping had never come through that room.

Front desk was beyond awful, very rude and disrespectful¿ a anger didn¿t do anything to correct the situation¿ we got to our rooms at 10 pm and left at 4 am¿ never again ¿ I need a refund!!!

Room, cleanliness, staff, breakfast. The location did not work as well as for me but is conveniently located near expressway, and public transportation.

Water was hot

One staff working at night only. Took 1 hr to get checked in when the process was only 5 mins at most

Closeness to everything and being friendly since I was by myself visiting a friends Dad and the City..I have worked for hotels for 23 years and this is a great one to have stayed in

Very friendly, helpful staff-- Shuttle service to + from O'Hare was wonderful-- Happy to find hairdryer, iron + ironing board provided-- Free breakfast was DELICIOUS and very substantial!!

Staff was knowledgeable about the areas I wanted to visit. They were helpful to say the least. Beds were comfortable. Sheets and comforter were soft and clean. Shuttle was very convenient and on time. Nice shower.

No safe in room. No USB chargers in room. No available snacks. Only soda.

The building itself was in terrible shape. The room smelled like stale smoke. It had the weirdest narrow shower i'd Ever seen. Doors were metal and didn't shut properly. Lights were dim. Just an awful place.

1 day failed to clean room. Was expecting room with a microwave but no luck and being place on the 2nd floor.

It's convenient to O'Hare airport and generally priced well. The staff, though slow, is polite and kind. Didn't stop for breakfast, but it was busy.

Check-in is slow. The elevator is slow. Everything is dingy. It doesn't look like it's had a legitimate cleaning in ages. The bedrooms are a decent size, but again dingy & dirty. They need a thorough deep clean. AC function was hit and miss.
