Park Inn by Radisson, Ames

Outside looked bad, e.g., weeds everywhere. Also advertised pool - which was not functioning

The continental breakfast.

The yellow caution tape roped around hotel. Loose rubber on stairs, no pool stated on front door, and them pool closed on inside. No sheets being changed. And towels supposedly changed every 3 days, but not exactly. My son feel down hard on the stairs.

This hotel was clean, it did the basics very well (room clean and nice, bedding of good quality, comfortable beds, extra blanket available, location good, breakfast just adequate. For the price, it was a good choice! One problem: no elevators.

There were no elevators. Breakfast was very minimal.

The room smelled like an ashtray. Ironically, it was noted as a non-smoking room. It reeked of cigarette smoke. The hotel is outdated and clearly not at the star level that it pretends to be. The breakfast was pretty much cereal or waffles.

Staff were nice and the location

REALLY CLEAN. Very close to where I was working walmart ND others stores,great places to eat all within a 2 mile drive.great price. Breakfast and indoor pool area.

All I can say is no elevator or guest laundry

There is no way that this was a 2.5 star hotel. It was maybe a 1.5 star hotel. We needed two queen beds instead of a California king. They could not accommodate. We need the extra pillows. Free breakfast? Yeah, maybe a waffle that¿s all you had.

The swimming pool

Breakfast wasn't made the right way. The waffle mix so so runny.

When we checked in noticed the AC not working. Called front desk & left premises. Came back later to a brand new unit. Very pleased & TY

I think everything was quite nice. Would return!

Yes the toilet was plugged when we checked in the room was dirty and there was brown human waste stains on the sheets

Location and price

Breakfast was poor; very limited options and low quality; oj didn¿t taste good; fresh fruit wasn¿t ripe; bakery item was processed hostess donuts in plastic wrappers

Location near all other hotels, restaurants

No elevator. Terrible coffee.

Though the building looked old on the outside, we were pleasantly surprised on the inside. The staff was very friendly.

I found this Baymont to be relatively run down. There was significant wear in the room I stayed in, especially the bathroom. Also one night stand had been significantly repositioned to try and hide a large tear in the carpet. Fridge was awful too.

pool not open but surrounding hotel pools were open. Free breakfast was not anything to talk about.

Price, staff and cleanliness.

The rooms are big. It's quite and staff is great. Beds are comfortable.

They need to do some upkeep. The outside looks like the hotel is closed weeds growing all over and through the cement.

Price

It was dark and drab. The hotel was old and location not great for us. Pool was cold. Breakfast kinda weak.

Proximity to University

The room was gross. Obviously not cleaned. Dried urine on toilet. Counters grimey. Staff combative when asked to switch rooms. Switched rooms and that one had dead bugs in the toilet water. Air/heater was moldy. Breakfast was rancid.

The shower had good water pressure. The mattress would have been comfortable had the sheets been clean.

We thought with it being a Baymont it would be nice. The opposite was true. The carpet felt sticky, there were no towels in the room and the sheets did not feel clean. We are pretty confident the sheets had previously been slept in.
