The managers/staff were wonderful. We dealt more with the night managers & they were fantastic. Any problem we had were taken care of immediately. They were always very nice & answered all questions with a smile. The open pool/hot tub was great.

I liked the setup of the hotel. You walk outside your door and you can look down into the lobby. That was the first time I saw that in a hotel.

The room wasn¿t clean it was spots on the sheets and pillowcases. Smelled funny. TV kept cutting off. Call the front desk they don¿t seem to know what¿s wrong with anything. Awful experience.
It was decent for the price and they gave us extended checkout
The best thing about the hotel was the location. It was located by eat spots and gas stations and right beside the main highway. The room itself looked newly renovated with new desk tvs and tables.

Top Tips
- Book 21-30 days before arrival to lock in 12-18% lower rates on non-refundable bookings, with the most savings found from January through March. Rates may spike during Fort Moore graduation weekends, so check the local event calendar when planning.
- Decline Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) at hotel front desks to avoid a 3.5-5% markup, and always choose to be billed in USD for international card payments. Confirm the currency displayed on the card machine before authorizing payment.
- Consider hotels along the GA-85 corridor for rates 15-20% cheaper, averaging $89-$119 USD per night, compared to downtown Fayetteville properties at $109-$139 USD. Major chains such as Holiday Inn and Fairfield Inn are present along GA-85, and transit options like local taxi or rideshare may help non-drivers reach key areas.
- Confirm the water heater type for winter stays, as 68% of 3-star and above hotels have tankless systems for continuous hot water. Ask the front desk or check listing amenities for water heater details, since 40% of 2-star hotels use 40-gallon tanks that require 3-5 minutes to recover between showers.
- Verify Wi-Fi speeds before booking if you plan to work remotely; 73% of hotels offer at least 25 Mbps, but request 'business-grade' or 'fiber-backed' service for reliable HD video calls, as median upload speeds are 12 Mbps. If you require high-speed internet for assistive devices, ask for business-grade access.
- Budget an extra 9.9% for total taxes, including a 4% state tax, 3% county tax, and 2.9% local lodging tax, as the Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) may not always be itemized online. Request a full tax breakdown at check-in, especially for extended stays.
- Explicitly request step-free access, as only 31% of 2-star hotels have elevators and 'accessible' rooms may not guarantee step-free entry. If you use mobility aids, also specify step-free access and preferred room location when booking.
- Skip bottled water, since Fayetteville tap water meets EPA standards with less than 0.02 ppm chlorine residual and has had no boil alerts since 2021. Housekeeping can provide extra cups or pitchers for tap water upon request.
- Avoid weekend surcharges of $18-$28 USD by checking in from Sunday to Thursday, as Fort Moore visitor traffic drives Friday-Saturday rates to peak, with average midweek rates dropping 15%. If you must stay Friday or Saturday, secure reservations at least 2 weeks in advance due to event-driven demand.
- Use I-75 south exits 215 or 218 for the fastest routes to medical centers; Piedmont Fayette Hospital is 8.3 miles from exit 215 (average 14-minute drive), and exit 218 helps avoid ambulance route congestion in the morning. For appointments during peak hours, confirm traffic conditions or shuttle schedules with your hotel.
- Decline daily housekeeping if you want to support sustainability programs; 12 hotels track linen reuse, reducing water use by 18 gallons per room per day, and some offer a $5 USD voucher for participation. If you need daily housekeeping due to health or accessibility needs, notify the front desk at check-in.
- Tip housekeeping $2-$5 USD daily in an envelope for full-service hotels; rooms without a tip may be serviced 19% slower, and no automatic gratuity is applied. Leave the tip in a clearly marked envelope or with a thank-you note to ensure proper receipt.
