    Pros +

    • This was a beautiful property, well off the road in a secluded sanctuary. It was incredibly peaceful and the grounds are gorgeous. I was in villa 5, and the room had very high ceilings, luxe bedding, a lovely sitting area, and nice amenities.
    • Balcony patio over looking the water well kelp grounds, convenience of restaurants being on site. Close to Cordele
    • We had one of the end rooms facing the dining building, room 321. There were 3 walls of floor to ceiling windows with great views. The room was very spacious with comfortable beds. Very quiet. Cypress tress with moss dripping from them, beautiful.

    Cons -

    • A separate shower is preferred, but with the bowed shower curtain in the tub/shower combo there was enough room.
    • Rooms are run down, windows do not have any screens & are rusted. Rooms smell moldy and musty. Heavy use of air freshener to mask the smell. Opened door to screened porch for fresh air but had to stuff holes in cement so animals could not come in.
    • The coffee pot and a lamp were unplugged. The console was too heavy to move, moved coffee pot to bathroom. Couldn't use lamp. The bathroom door rubbed against the tile floor and couldn't be opened or closed easily. It's about a 15 min drive from I-7

Rooms are nicely updated and the location just off the water is great.

Cleanliness issues were noted. We killed 10+ bugs in the room, and this complaint was brushed off at checkout.

The friendly staff & location. The amenities seemed nice but I was only there one night and didn't get to enjoy them.

Check in time of 4:00 is too late. The room smelled musty. The price was little too high. Should've included breakfast.

    Location

Mold, air conditioning didn't work, outdated, broken windows, checked into dirty room, double charged

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-26-2018

It was a very clean hotel

It was not very easy to get to , and was a long way off the highway

Would have been $15 less per night if we had called hotel direct. Porch needed cleaning, repairs on bath tub should have been completed. Made reservation for four occupants, room not prepared for four: short water, towels, shampoo, cups, condiments

Accommodating with the pets as we traveled.

There were tons of additional fees and it was really far off of the interstate. We paid $40 per cat when it says $25 per pet on their website, $10 resort fee, and $5 for a second vehicle. $95 in additional fees on top of the $-- originally paid.

I have had better food and service @ a funeral. The rooms were dirty, staff was not even @ the front desk to here what was going on. When I checked out I had a mystery $125 charge that no one could explain to me and they refused to take it off. worst exp.

Horrible customer service exp ever. Charged my card $125 and no one an explain why, and they will not take it off. Have to wait 3-5 bizz days to contest it. Ask to speak to GM or leave my info and they refused to get them or have them call me. Stay away.

When you stop at midnight on a long drive you get what you get. What I got here was very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, bottles of water and a screened in porch over looking a lake! Beyond beautiful, just beyond!

    Cold AC! Clean room.

No microwave. No table to sit more than 1 person.Front desk lady very unhelpful.Went back and spoke to hotel employee he was pleasant and informative.Restaurant breakfast buffet was HORRIBLE!Good selection if only it was hot.EXPENSIVE.Staff uninformed

The hotel was lovely. Welcoming, clean, the room was very comfortable. Staff very freindly

The hotel was not easy to find. The directions that we received from the web site were WRONG. It lead us down a dark road, and left us on a corner to nowhere. When we called the hotel for help, the young man at the desk could not help us...

The location - beautiful and convenient.

I did not get the handicapped shower I requested (I called the hotel directly after booking and was told it was reserved, but they gave to someone else before I arrived).

    3SladePosted on: 11-14-2016

its very difficult to find the "hotel" once there its nice, the rooms are apartments.

Its at LEAST 10 miles off the highway. The staff when called are rude and cant even give you directions. I called the desk 4 times to find the place and she was more interested in looking up my reservation than actually getting me to the "hotel"

The setting on Lake Blackshear within a Georgia state park was wonderful. Lots of walking/running/biking spaces. Plenty to see in the surrounding areas also. Live music on some evenings.

Even though the breakfast buffet was good, I have come to expect a free, simple breakfast from most hotels. When we mentioned this to the hotel staff, they gave us a complimentary breakfast on our final morning.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-14-2016

That it was on the lake with a lake view and convenient to all the activities.

The room was large enough to accommodate two queen beds or a small sofa but it had two double beds and one chair. The sink desperately needed a shot of draino. I think the rate should have been about $20.00 less based on the room type.

    3TabithaPosted on: 5-10-2016

It had a lake and pool.

Yes the staff did not have the knowledge of the everything that was listed online.
