Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel

In the morning, I went downstairs for coffee. I was given a paper cup and directed to self pour from the coffee urn; I was charged $4.95 to pour myself a cup of black coffee and use 2 coffee mate creamers. Just give your guests free coffee.

Check out staff was not pleasant at all. Noise of drilling occurred starting at 8 am which I found ridiculous. Checkout staff at front desk simply pointed to a piece of paper on desk that indicated there was drilling to be performed for maintenance

It took 3 hours to checkin due to them being understaffed and unprepared because there was an event in town. I stayed multiple nights and asked for my room to be serviced. It never was. I asked for a shaving kit and toothbrush. Never sent. 4/10 -location

It was close to the events we were planning to attend. The rooms were nice and clean.

Well, the hotel valet left our keys in another vehicle and that vehicle was long gone by the time we went to retrieve them. We waited for half an hour before anyone let us know what was happening. We missed out on a show we paid almost 200 bucks for.

The room was clean and comfortable. Close to lots of restaurants. I enjoyed walking around Midtown.

The city view room I was given had a view of the AC units/building next door.

Central location. Modern and clean design. Friendly and professional staff. Parking is under hotel and convenient to access. Huge television. Comfortable bed. City views.

Rooftop bar was closed. No pool.

The mattress on the bed was very hard and there was visible mold in the shower in room 1812

The hotel location is amazing! I little bit away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but still in the heart of everything. We loved being able to walk to our favorite bar. The guest service team was also amazing. Always kind and helpful.

The room was simply not clean. It had a funny smell as soon as you walked in. There was hair from a previous guest in the bathroom. The bedsheets were clearly soiled. Even after I asked for them to be changed, the new ones I received were also dirty.

The hotel was very chic and the staff were really nice.

The rooftop was not available due to a private party. The rooftop was one of the reasons why I chose this hotel, so I feel like I did not get my monies worth. This should have been noted on the hotel's website.

Did not enjoy my experience at the hotel.

There were a number of things that I did not like about the hotel. The first and far most, we arrived at 6:00 PM and the rooms were not ready for check-in. I had a dinner reservation and could not check in the room prior to the dinner.

Location

Dirty. Had to change rooms because of a massive amount of hair in the bed... eww! Then left because the bed was extremely uncomfortable and had a spring sticking out of the side. Not what I would expect on an “executive” suite.

They had a wine and painting event for free the night we checked in. This was perfect for our bachelorette party! Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The check-in/out was very confusing. Staff worked at an unmarked kiosk that had laptops on it. It was awkward and not clear what to do.

The room and easy walk to several restaurants.

Too much construction around the hotel. And the check in desk location was not convenient.

- No choice but to have valet parking ($35.) _ At home I noticed a $40. charge was added on myVisa bill for "incidentals). I called the hotel and said I would have the charge disputed. The charge was "pending" on Visa and then it went away.

Hotel was under construction, some staff were rude and incompetent, staff and management had a sense of entitlement and I'm paying my money!

The hotel was undergoing renovations The rooms were fresh, clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful and made us feel like very special guests We did have a problem with approximately $200 missing from the car after using the valet.

Walls were thinking and we could hear everything in the adjoining room. As mentioned above we had a large sum of cash missing from our car after using the valet. The hotel is investigating.
