The University Inn at Emory

The price of the room did not meet my expectations. I had higher expectations for the cost and the fact that Emory University's name was tied to it as well. My daughter is graduating in May, was planning to stay there, but no.

Proximity to the event that I was attending

Check-in staff was absolutely fantastic. which is a day manager was absolutely deplorable, uncaring and disrespectful.

I liked the cleanliness and spacious room. The hotel was very near my medical appointment.

yes, I was had problems maneuvering the stairs, no elevator and the outside entrance cause some concern. My room was on the very top.

Room was large and comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly an helpful.

The paint is peeling, its musty and damp, horrible olive green color room that needed painting, could feel the springs in the bed. While this is a budget hotel, its marketed like a quaint property. Everything is old and needs updating.

Had a late check in, and the night manager was there to let us in. Super friendly staff and huge room!

The rooms were so humid with bad smell. Damaged furniture. Small beds. After looking at two rooms we just had to book a room to another hotel in the area and leave the premises of this ¿hotel¿. Very disappointed. I would not recommend it.

Door latch was sticking, so after returning for 2 hours found the door ajar, nothing was missing at all. I did not inform the employees until check out. They assured me that maintenance would lubricate the door promptly.

Convenient to Emory Hospital. Parking and access good. Clean and friendly. Supposedly has shuttle, was not available during stay.

Information on-site did not indicate that there was no elevator. Room was on the third floor., and at the very end. No bellman to assist with luggage. Is highly recommended by Emory Hospital, but is not very senior adult friendly. Breakfast just ok.

The location and staff. Room was larger than expected and very clean. Microwave & refrigerator were in a closet, conveniently out of the way. Afternoon tea offered fresh baked cookies, served warm if you got there early.

Seemed to run out of breakfast items later in the breakfast hours and not refilled.

I had an upgraded room with two double beds. It was very spacious, with pleasant lighting. The location was extremely convenient to Emory.

Location to Emory campus and Emory village

Stains on the carpet, toilet paper roll broken therefore toilet paper on the floor, lamps not plugged in, BLACK MOLD in the bathroom, dirty tub, found a HAIR in the sheets. All in all, it was gross. The a/c was not on when we arrived, room stinky & hot

The staff was wonderful and friendly. The lobby was very quaint and charming. The pool was a nice touch, and I really wish I'd had a chance to take advantage of it! The room was large and comfortable with plenty of storage and closet space.

There were bugs everywhere outside (to be fair, it is summer). The air conditioner was a little off for my taste, but it kept the room cool. The bathtub drain didn't close so I could take a proper bath :(

I was very pleased with our stay. I made a mistake and booked the wrong dates. Our room was not available so they upgraded us to a renovated room for no extra cost. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is directly across from Emory.
