Kimpton Sylvan Hotel

I loved the design of this hotel and amenities.

Cleanliness needs to be a stronger focus and bed comfort with thicker pillows. The bathroom overflow in the sink was filthy.

Excellent front desk service and a cool rooftop bar

Valet parking was the only option. It would be nice to have that included in the price.

A clear 10/10 experience. I like to pay a little more and get a very well rewarding stay - and this time didn't fail. Clean room, nice bed, bar nice.

The staff are fantastic and made me feel at home! There is a great wine and app hour that the staff host everyday and the coffee bar was stocked with lots of options. I will definitely be back!

The hotel itself is adorable - rooms are on the small side, though.

If you check in at 4, which is a later check-in than usual, and check out at 11/12 and are only staying one night, there isn't any time to use the pool, which is a huge reason we chose this hotel.

I loved everything about the Kimpton Sylvan. It was a perfect location where I felt very safe in and outside the hotel. I loved the amenities (pool, Rooftop bar, The Betty bar and restaurant) and loved the hotel staff. My room was just perfect.

The staff was top notch!

Yes I had charge to my card after my stay for wine which I did not have from the mini bar. I noticed the charge and it was credited back.

The cleanliness and location

The staff were rude and generally unhelpful. The valet service was extra difficult to deal with. Also, there was zero coffee in room or via room service before 7am. This hotel brands itself a 4.5 out of five.ive stayed in Fairfield ins that are nicer

Room showed no wear & tear. Very nice. Comfortable bed.

all the complimentary food, wine & coffee was gone very quickly. Need to have it all day for that star rating. 2 star places do....

The room we booked wasnt what we paid for a, not city view room. We got to our room, and were looking at construction from the fourth floor. Called the front desk and was told it?s a premium room, that?s what is available for my room selection. I disagree

I?m a regular at the Kympton Sylvan & it has easily become one of my faves. The ladies at the front desk are exceptional & they greet each guest with the same high-energy & kindness each time. It?s definitely a 5 star experience.

I loved the design and art. The pool area was beautiful. Also loved the furniture.

I would have liked to have been aware of the parking situation prior to coming.

Rooms not clean. Furniture damaged. Valet parking too expensive, AC didn?t work, power outage

The AC in the room was not able to bring the air temperature down below 76 degrees. The water pressure in the shower was terribly weak. $50 mostly obligatory valet parking.

The scenery was no a 4.5 star hotel. The elevator need some work. Valet is not work $50.00

Great location. Great staff, clean, great bar/restaurant, upscale, comfortable bedding, luxury amenities.

There were ants in our room after I ate takeout. I discovered the ants the morning of checkout and alerted the front desk staff. They said would send someone up to take care of it but no one came before checkout.

vibe was good concierges were incredible. had a good time in town for birthday celebration, had comp Champaign for the birthday girl and her guest.

refrigerator was not cold and mini bar prices were high.
