Holiday Inn Express Tallahassee-University Central By IHG

This hotel is newly renovated and it is so clean and updated! Actually surprised how nice. The location was 1 mile from the FSU Stadium and lots of restaruants within 2 miles of the hotel.

The cleanliness was very impressive

I checked out the owner or whoever made a big deal because it wasn’t two people, it was three I had three kids and so they said need to charge you10 dollars for an extra person. I really liked hotel but I will never return $10not worth a repeat customer

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean/

We lost power for about an hour. Also the breakfast was a little lack luster but it did the job.

Location

My room was right off the road so I could hear loud cars and music all night. I didn?t sleep very well.

Decent property overall

Homeless people loiter in the lobby. Female worker eventually ushered them out and locked the door but they are common in the area.

convenient location

room was dirty, dust and dirt all around the edges of the room, entire room needed vacuuming, only one coffee and was never replenished, bathroom vanity was dusty and dirty

It had rooms available and was close to the airport.

The parking was terrible, there were very few spots allocated for the hotel and a school bus was taking up 8 of them. There was quite a bit of pot smoking going on on our floor, we could smell it. The people next door were partying half the night.

Fabulous breakfast Fresh , clean lobby and breakfast room Comfortable bed Good room size Friendly desk staff

Difficult to find and get into parking area

For $-- a night, I was irritated that there weren¿t any blankets for my child to use on the pull out couch.

The location was convenient to the university and the price was very good for the quality. The free hot breakfast was nice, although the coffee wasn¿t the best. The room was clean and the amenities were good. Friendly staff.

This hotel, like many these days, is not doing daily housekeeping. This was not a problem for us, but some people might not like that. All you had to do if you wanted housekeeping or fresh towels was call or stop by the front desk, which was staffed 24/7.

the location near FSU

I was in a handicap room, no chair or table , large open space; the thermostat did not work, so no heat, the microwave oven dials were in French , so could not use. I told 3 different front desk clerks but no action.

Breakfast, cleanliness, staff, location

A lot of noise from outside even at 4 am.

I loved the location and their effort at cleanliness. The staff was also accommodating and pleasant.

The room was very nice and the hotel appears to have been recently renovated

The location, although very close to campus, was not great. Our room overlooked a very busy and loud road and getting into and out of the hotel was tricky.

Staff was terrific. Bedding was super comfortable.

First room, (121) next to pantry loud banging all night. Staff kindly changed my room next day. New room's (#123) deadbolt lock was broken.

Clean

The AC stoped at night, but was solved for the staff.

Location and clean

They gave me room 121 next to the kitchen area and they were banging on the walls since a little past 6:15am. I was exhausted from driving all day and I couldn’t sleep and rest past that time due to the noise.

The breakfast was very poor

Hotel employee was very helpful with recommendations.

The trash needed to be emptied in the lobby bathroom

Noise, you can hear /smell almost everything from the street or neighbors.
