Classic King- Curry Mansion with Heated Pool!

There is NO ONE on the property. Entrance to mansion and room are all accessed by codes that are sent to you via text. It was hard to believe that no one is available to assist when checking in. The room was "cute" but needed some major updating.

Excellent location, beautiful historic building. Room was clean and cold, walking distance to Duval street.

Customer service has gone down tremendously since the last time I stayed at this hotel. No staff on site, breakfast was nothing to write home about (microwaved burritos, nutri grain bars, cold cereal and oranges), no ice in ice machine

Great location good price.

Guests near me were loud very late

The location was great. Right around the corner from Duval Street, shopping and restaurants. Parking is on site so no real reason to use your car. We had no problem with parking. Also, the pool is now heated.

The room was "cute" but needed some major updating. The mattress was way past its life but the worst thing about the room was the music that played VERY LOUD from a restaurant directly behind the inn from 10:00 am to 7:00 am. I called Brightwild and they told me that there was nothing they could do because there are no noise restrictions in Key West. So, we talked to the restaurant manager, and he told us that the music was controlled by the corporation not located on the premises and they were unable to even adjust the volume. We both slept horribly. Someone did finally show up and shock the pool, which cleared it up, but it was still in need of some major cleaning. Tiles needed scrubbing and filters were not working so debris in pool. Also, we had mid-night nude swimmers in the pool that didn't appear to be guests at the inn. As for the breakfast, it consisted of coffee, danish, orange, burritos that needed to be microwaved, cereal, milk, and water. My husband has stayed here before and loved it. He loved staying here but was VERY disappointed this time. There use to be a very good, cooked breakfast and also a happy hour that no longer exists.

It was very easy to get in with the doors all being codes. Once we got our welcome email we had all the info we needed. There was no one on staff so it was good we had all we needed in our rooms.

The location was sort of a double edge sword. It was definitely close to town which is good, but then its also close to bars which is very loud late at night. We only stayed 2 nights so it wasn't too bad.
