Riptide Oceanfront Hotel

The only thing that was great about this place was location. and that's ALL!!

Very run down hotel. The sheets had holes in them, had to shower with cold water 2 days. chip crumbs on nightstand. The whole room felt dirty. The staff was rude and unwelcoming. Other than one person, I don't recall her name the one that checked us in.

Ocean view, Tiki Bar & restaurant, excellent food & drink.

Great location on the boardwalk

Customer service was horrible. They cut my reservation short and lied about it. They had mentioned that they were booked and they had no rooms available. But I booked another room at that moment online under my husband's name. Overall had a horrible time.

The hidden ¿resort fee¿ this is not a resort. You do not get what you pay for. The room is grossly overpriced for the quality of the room.

Location is thee prime attraction here and you can't beat it. Room is typical old Hollywood Beach so don't expect the Marriott.

Not sure if a result of Covid but the room service and bar service were not the same as in years past. Had to continually go to the office to get towels, TP, etc. whereas in years past they came to the room daily to ask if essentials were needed.

The location, the view was outstanding, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The television was mounted on the wall with a flat-mount. I would suggest mounting it on a pull out mount so that you can see it from the bed.

Not as clean as I would like. No ice machine, air conditioner not cooling , floor was sticky , no coffee in rooms and the coffee maker in office for guest was filthy. The tiki bar only has wine based drinks or beer. Location was great

Bathroom floor was dirty. Bed squeaked. Refrigerator rattled all night.

It was on the beach, they bikes to use free of charge.

The office windows were filthy and room,as well.

Ease of check in and check out. Picnic are where family gathered for my birthday. Staff was helpful and efficient.

One employee asked us to lower music in the middle of a rainy afternoon as we sat on our balcony. The music was low as we were having conversations. My husband went to the manager to ask if there were any complaints, and we were told no.

Room service didn't clean the greatest. With that said and the tiled floors they could have kept a broom in he room and I would sweep it myself.

The location makes this hotel worth it. It's on a less busy part of the Hollywood Broadwalk, but also close to all of the action. Plus you can't beat the short few steps to the beach!

Location and t-shirts for sale. Right on the beach. Room comes with beach towels.

The tiki bar was fun but was a loud drunk magnate till late. You could hear them like they were in our room!

The room was on the first floor (disability concerns.)Everyone was very accoomodating and professional and made me feel at home.Environment was like I was staying with friends.The hotel was on the beach

Would like to have had side curtains to cover the areas not covered by the blinds.

I loved being right on the beach.

I didn't like that we weren't informed that the office was closed between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am.

Staff was cheerful and very helpful even when we asked a lot. Helped us with our bags. We loved having beach supplies available. The bar was a fun atmosphere. I already recommended you to others.
