Elevator is not working water dripping from the ceiling very dirty everywhere in the entire property broken sharp tiles in the bathroom floor bathroom tub doesn't drain hotel smelled like marijuana only to name a few of the major problems

NOTHING! Worst hotel we ever stayed in. Had 3 elevators, all 3 broken. Had to use service elevator in dark, smelly, isolated hallway in basement/loading zone. Hotel dirty, smelly, broken hairdyer, broken lights. Smelled of urine & marijuana.

Unfriendly, rude staff. We were on 7th floor and all 3 elevators broken. Had 5:55 am flight. Service elevator that we had to use to go up, would not work. Staff member there very rude and inappropriate. Chose hotel for location, but were afraid to go out.

Not safe, stairway was padlocked closed and only one working elevator. Gas leak maintenance workers were checking out. Did not receive the oceanview room we booked, had a view of the parking lot

The staff was very friendly. Lots to do around the hotel. Very historic looking.

This is the second time I have been to this hotel and the elevators are not working. I had to leave work at four in the morning. It is very scary having to walk down six flights of stairs to get to my car. They need to get those elevators working.

I did not like nothing at this hotel I left the hotel one day early That's how I was disappointed the rooms weren't clean at all

Elevator wasn't working the room service was in doing their job the rooms were dirty the Sheets Were and replace the towels were not replaced everything was old used

The bathroom had a water leak in the ceiling. They moved me to another room and charged me a higher daily rate. very disappointing. I will never go back.

Horrible musty smell everywhere, parking outrageous, check in 2 blocks from hotel, total dump. People I overheard talking had worse things to say.

Nothing. It's a horrible disgusting filthy place. Lied about parking. Drugs everywhere. Staff horrible. Someone tried to break into my car. Security verbally would assault and lie to me and my female friend. Disgusting!!!!

FALSE ADVERTISING! FILTHY! smell in halls room elevators putrid vacuuming not done in years. Drugs all over! room GROSS but call no one answers!Staff horrible!Parking nightmare! $28 a night, car had attempted robbery. "Security inappropriate hit on you!

Location is perfect, on the beach with a walkway in front. You can walk, rent bikes, perfect. Best deal too, where else can you get a hotel on the beach for $--- a night. I will go again

Pain to pay $10 to use the pool facilities. $18 to park us pricey too

The only thing this hotel had going for it was the location. I gave "overall experience" 5 stars simply because we made our vacation amazing and didn't let the rude staff, clogged shower, dingy hall ways, snooping maids ruin our stay.

Beach front location is nice

Extremely dated, many areas in disrepair. No controls for A/C. Mold in the vents in the bathroom and shower taps leak

I did not like the hotel.

There was no mention of the fact that there was no free parking. You had to valet your car or park in the garage which increased the price of my stay with no prior mention of this.

The location can not be beat. Plus the historical background of this hotel is incredible. As soon as I walked in and saw the copper ceilings, the wall sconces, the old mailbox, I was hooked. It is an extremely old hotel but the history is amazing

Location was great right on the boardwalk short walk to beach. Staff is questionable hotel is old and not taken care of. Some people live in hotel full time. 2 of 3 elevators were not working.

Location was excellent. The room had an ocean view, was able to watch the beautiful sunrise. Room was comfortable, the kitchenette adequate.

The spa was down. Our reservation was for a queen bed, were given 2 twin beds. Had to wait till a room with a queen bed was located.

Great location and very close to airport. I read the reviews and was nervous but they are a bit harsh. It is an old hotel, which I love. It was clean and had character. It does need renovations. It's not nearly as bad as the reviews that I read.

It is a little hard to see from the road. Needs renovations.

The place was extremely dirty. Bloody teeth on the bathroom floor. Rude staff, bums sleeping at the pool in the middle of the night. Awful smell throughout the building. Holes in the ceiling. I believe they house homeless people.

Location is great. It is right on the beach. Parking is easy. $18 for self-parking.

It's an older hotel that seems to have converted to condos. So it doesn't have the same standards as other hotels. The $50-$250 credit card hold is off-putting.
