Hampton Inn & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Airport/South Cruise Port

Was close to cruise port

The service. Hotel was overbooked with no rooms available and no one seemed to have any resolution to the issue. I had children sleeping in the lobby until 1am.

There is nothing to say I am still waiting on my way from the hotel is dirty there was hair in the bathtub My towels were dirty and so was the sheets on the bed

The room was dirty

Free shuttle from airport; reasonably priced shuttle service to cruise port; free breakfast.

I reserved a suite with a king bead and double pull out sofa bed, but I got two beds instead. My husband, who has traveled a lot on business says it is typical to get a room that does not match the reservation. It all worked out, we were fine.

The convenience to places to eat and close to the cruise port

The carpets in the hotel and walkways had very strong carpet deodorizer smells. So strong that I had to use my inhaler every time I walked into the hotel or stepped out of the hotel room!

The lady at the front desk (red hair) was super polite, helpful and accommodating. I forgot her name.

Suites are repeatedly not stocked with basic supplies needed to utilize the kitchen. Staff member was extremely rude and unwilling to assist.

The location is everything!!!! So amazing its across from the Dania Pointe Shops and right across the highway.

Some repairs could be made in the actual suite we were in (toilet paper holder falling off wall, chipped nightstand, etc).

The team. and the others we interacted with were SO incredibly pleasant and helpful. It was an AMAZING experience!

The property could do with some renovation, but besides that, it was a comfortable stay. LOVED the room setup!

The shuttle to the airport and close location of various places to eat.

The carpet looked pretty worn and dirty

Room was a suite. Very roomy with a full size refrigerator.

Utensils in room were dirty, didnt seem like four was vacuumed. Showerhead no pressure thermometer. Either made the room very very cold or was hot. Worst was breakfast, the same thing every day!

Close to airport, although if taking hotel shuttle, factor in that it runs to two Hampton locations, North and South hotels near airport. Staff was very informative and helpful.

shuttle pick-up at airport was a problem. Waited over an hour after calling. Some of this is the shear volume of vehicles in a very overcrowded ground transport pickup area at FLL. Dual hotel dropoff also a factor.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, very clean, great location.

I liked the inside of the room, and some of the front desk agents.

There were noticeable crumbs on the dining room chairs when I pulled 1 out. There was a metal cap that someone had removed when they stayed in the room last and they put it on the shampoo bottle in the shower. The bedroom light switch didn't do anything.

Check in. They indicated I didn't pay tax upon booking which I had to when I booked and tried to make me pay again and I refused.

The clerk gave me a room and someone else the same room and the cane in my room

This is everything I expect out of a hotel. The room was no different than the pictures on the site. Clean, comfortable, my family and I will definitely be coming back!

Location is best. Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was good and free coffee!!!

I loved the free breakfast, it was surprising really good. The room was nice and clean. The water pressure in the shower and sink was great. TV and channel selection was amazing. Super nice and helpful staff. Definitely recommend.

There was no toilet paper in my room when I got there.

The room was modern.

The hallways and carpets can be updated pool needs to be cleaned.

I have stayed there before and their staff is always nice and always helpful. I forgot they don't have mini fridges in most rooms and they don't have coffee makers or microwaves at all. I won't stay again because of the no coffee option.
