Hampton Inn & Suites DeLand

We have stayed here before and it was a nice stay on our previous stay. The breakfast is nice and the staff are friendly.

The hallways were extremely hot and the ice machine was not working on our floor. There was ice a few floors up. Our room had moist floors that eventually dried out overnight, but had a musty smell. The nightstand was falling apart.

Comfortable bed, easy checkin, decent breakfast loved that it went until 10am, safe area, liked the bottles in the shower and the curved shower curtain, refrigerator in room. Sheets, blanket, and comforter on bed are so nice, so many don't have a blanket.

Iron leaked water everywhere, toilet handle wasn't working right, things need to be painted and repaired - feels old/tired when there are glaring cosmetic issues. I felt like it was WAY overpriced for a basic hotel that is older. WAY.

I loved the hot breakfast. Better than most

The dresser situation looked like it used to house a refrigerator and they put steel racks in. Very limited for 4 people. Also did not like the barn door for the closet/bathroom.

This hotel is located in a good location. Only a couple minutes from downtown. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance. The staff is always friendly and helpful.Hotel employee made our check in experience pleasant and went above what we expected.

The hotel is starting to show its age. The rooms could use some maintenance.

The tv remote only half way worked. The volume worked but all the other buttons did not work. So to change the channel I had to squeeze behind the desk to the cable box to change channel on the box. Also the ac wasn¿t that cold.

Hotel was clean, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Coffee, tea and cocoa always available.

The sink in the bathroom at the end of the stay did clog up. My guess is previous guests never bothered reporting it as it slowly drained which eventually leads to a total clog.

Manager was wonderful and professionally managed our issue.

No one at front desk for over 25 minutes when we tried to check in late after a delayed flight. When associate did finally show up was not apologetic and said if we had a problem that we would have to talk to manager in am.

The hotel is set off the main road, so is quiet in the rooms. It is close to Deland. The staff is friendly, and nice breakfast.

The room was stuffy, and the bathroom floor was not clean.

The location is perfect. I like that it¿s away from all of the hustle and bustle, yet it¿s close to everything. It felt safe. The breakfast was delicious and I¿m so glad we chose this hotel.

Yes the room was very hot and then there was hair and stuff from the guest before and very loud ac unit and tv bearly worked..
