Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. Downtown

The location - close to public transport, a supermarket, restaurants and bars. Breakfast was very good. Hotel was very quiet, liked having a separate bedroom, and a tv in both the bedroom and living room area. Lighting and outlets good.

Room was not serviced on the third day. Kitchen needed a sponge and dishwashing liquid.

It was close to the Metro. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean.

Breakfast was great

Parking was Robbery. For the price of the rooms it should not have cost $66 a night for parking. Room was small for a suit, the noisy ceiling fan kept me up at night.

The bed was comfortable, the hotel is modern and clean. The hot/cold breakfast was good and offered a wide selection. The staff were sweet.

The location is the biggest plus. It is near the WH and other spots in DC that we wanted to visit which we can walk to get there. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodated our late check out request. It also offered free breakfast.

The water from the shower ( handicap accessible) spills over to the bathroom floor . They need a longer plastic shower curtain to keep the water in .

I liked the comfortble beds and pillows. I loved how neat and clean everythimg was and everyone was very curteous.

the toilet was clogged we called the front desk five hours later we had to call again it happened again the next morning they came to fix it it was still clogged the downstairs bathroom in the lobby had a clogged toilet should have gotten our money

The hotel is in a great location. Pretty clean. Breakfast options were plentiful.

The price of parking is not right. I was charged $127.44 for parking for 2 days. There is a $100 deposit needed at check in. I was charged 4 times for the $100 deposit leading to a $400 hold on my card. Front desk said they didn¿t, bank said they did.

The hotel was a great location for my travel. Easy to get to from the airport and welcoming staff. The breakfasts had good variety and the coffee was good.

Sometimes my card was a little difficult.

The room was big enough for us all and enjoyed having a stove to cook on. Also it had tall enough parking for our car with rooftop carrier

The location was 5-6 blocks walking distance to the National Mall. Also within walking there are coffee shops and grocery stores.

Stench of Marijuana at the front entrance, infestation of mosquitoes in the front lobby

Hotel was clean and easy to find in DC. Rooms were spacious enough for family of four.

We were disappointed that no ice was available and our ice machine was off when we arrived. It made three ice cubes the entire time. Cocktails on no ice.. was gross. Hour wait to check in and a hour wait to leave next day¿ wasted little time we had¿

It meets the Hilton standard for cleanliness. Great and generous with breakfast too.

One bathroom located inside the 1 bedroom. Also TV¿s need an upgrade. No Netflix or Amazon apps. The remote didn¿t work in the 1 bedroom.

Absolutely Nothing

The Front Desk Manager was very rude. The worst customer service ever. My reservation was cancelled because the room was not ready after waiting for 2hrs. After 4pm (check-in time) the room was still not ready and they don't know when it will be ready.

Shower water so hot couldn't use at lowest setting. Any lower it turned off.

Location is excellent. 10 mins by car and 20 mins by feet to National Mall. Close to Whole Foods, bunch of restaurants and kids playground. Breakfast was adequate but not as many options as we have seen in other hotels with the same star rating.

The room was decent but not top notch. There were signs visible in the room where maintenance was needed (eg. Carpet was coming off from a corner, Bathroom door lock was not working, bathtub faucet was dripping even when completely turned off)

Had to ask staff to clean room. Felt no cleaning would have been done at all during the seven-day stay if we hadn¿t asked. Young man at front desk lacked training for the job. Barking dog in nearby room was also annoying. Location was okay
