Canopy by Hilton Washington D.C - The Wharf

The location was perfect for my plan and there was lots to do. The hotel is new, clean and modern.

Please have at least 1 bottle of water in the room upon arrival

Is a clean and well kept hotel, the room has a nice view and the staff is friendly.

Water got cold at times and the ice machine was not working

All but one garage was full and the receptionist not only tried to charge twice for the same room, but called the room and admitted it. Thank you to the manager who quickly resolved the employee?s mistake.

The location was absolutely stunning

My toilet did not work upon arrival, but it was repaired immediately

The location! Exactly where we wanted to stay to be close to the restaurants and action.

Staff was rude. The website says a buffet style breakfast for a fee and when we called to ask what the fee was, the front desk said "this is a 4 star hotel. Buffet breakfast is for 2 stars and below" and laughed. A/C, lamps and TV were also broken.

Terrific location on the riverfront - beautiful view from our room. Easy access to many DC attractions.

We found the property suited our needs quite well.

Noisy HVAC cycles on/of continuously. Doors slam on exit/entry.

Housekeeping never cleaned our room nor fresh towels in 3 days and the food at the restaraunt was awfull

Lampshades and furniture looked dirty. What I was quoted was higher when I arrived.

The a/c fan was super loud and could not be adjusted, other than to be turned off.

The location and the responsiveness of employees.

No refrigerator or microwave. Tv was placed on a walk to the side of the bed so you get a stiff neck after a few minutes of watching.

Room designs, space, decor are outstanding.

Elevator system a little onerous. Had to use stairs constantly as you cannot go to your room without going to lobby first, which defeats the whole purpose of a digital key. Who are they trying to protect? Also,the staff were pretty cold and unfriendly.

What we liked about the hotel is location and it was close to our family down the street. Along with different and very good places to eat.

It seems that the room could have been more thoroughly vacuumed. It seemed that it was a lil dingy.

Not cleaned enough (bed pillow blanket) Refrigerator is not working. No drinking water in room. Ac is noisy. We won¿t be back.

The shower wasn’t supper clean. There was a hair. And they did not serve free breakfast which was on my receipt and itinerary. But they did have room service so that’s odd.

This hotel is right on the water. It is a beautiful hotel. Our room was beautiful, very comfortable beds and pillows. Great bathroom. Friendly staff.

There is no free parking. It's either street parking or in a garage which is not owned by the hotel and is $38 overnight. Cannot take elevator to room from ground floor. Have to go to lobby then up to room floor. Stained table lampshade in room.
