Hampton Inn & Suites Washington D.C./Navy Yard Area

The proximity to the Nationals Ballpark. We were there specifically for the Yankee game on Sunday afternoon.

The room was small, not a lot of space around the bed and no other spot to sit in besides the bed.

Location and security

The heating system needed repair in my room it woke me up the whole night with a loud noise Everytime it popped on.

The staff was awesome, all of them were so friendly and helpful. The water and coffee available in the lobby was nice, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. They offer a free breakfast that was really good. We really enjoyed our stay!

Location to Nationals Park

Valet parking was not available upon arrival. It took 2 hours to find a parking lot. Once that lot closed at midnight we were able to get valet parking until check-out later that morning. The breakfast area was so small.

The staff friendly and knowledgeable most helpful. The Breakfast Cafe cleanliness very impressive and the seating area spacious well lit and comfortable. In addition to the no smoking policy was great.

The free breakfast was not good. Only one station to make pancakes, not many pastries, eggs looked scary.

Location to the ballpark.

$70 to park a car overnight is probably the norm but it just seems outrageous. That?s why I hate staying in cities!!

The location was great. The area was close to everything and there were a lot of great restaurants close by.

Small rooms and no drawers or hooks to organize belongings.

It's clean, organized, and it was a good breakfast.

One of the receptionists were not polite.

Drove around the block three times trying to find parking. Called and was told they "don't allow self parking" (after a "brief hold" of 7 minutes). Hotel is basically sandwiched between some shops on a busy street. Did not feel safe nor welcomed.

The noise from construction across the street started at 3:00 am one morning. The noise from the street was heard in my 5 th floor room. The lobby was undergoing construction and breakfast area was not big enough to accommodate guests at breakfast.

Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful!

Lovely staff and great location central in Navy Yard

Our room (209) had the worst view of the air conditioner and other machinery right outside of our bed, which was disappointing. They were also children screaming and laughing next door until midnight, when we called & staff said they would take care of it

We were visiting town for a Christmas festival. The hotel is located across the street from the venue, so we chose to stay here. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and professional to everyone from what we saw.

Everything was great apart from the shower water temperature the final morning of our visit. It didn't seem to warm up like it did the previous morning, but that was the only thing that I noticed that was odd.

The shower doors was a mess, water running out had to put towels everywhere but they gave us more to help because it could not be fix while we were there, the coffe maker stop working but they fix that quickly,

Near the location I needed to be by

Yes the room I was in unable to receive or make calls from my cell phone . The hot water took forever to heat up in the shower

Staff and location

King size bed was severely worn. So bad that it caused my back to seize up and required treatment before I could fly home. Breakfast was virtually tasteless.
