- The hotel decorum in the lobby and lounge area was nice. Clean room with refreshed towels. The valets and front desk staff were accommodating to me and our needs. We enjoyed the outside sitting area and the indoor heated pool. I would stay here again.

Cons -
- Although the parking was paid the valet happily got my car several times a day. Really nothing bad I can say because everywhere in DC you have to pay to park.
- Could use another chair or chaise in the bedroom . Toilet paper could be a lot better quality.
- The only thing I can say I had a small problem with was the location. It is a little off the beaten path. We took the train into DC and had to rely on local transportation. The hotel is not really close to the Metro, so a taxi or driving service is needed

The hotel is nice and the staff is always welcoming. Rooms are very clean and the view was amazing. Afternoon Tea was an experience in itself and a must for any visit.

I was not informed ahead of time that the sauna was not in functional order. I was not told that the men's sauna was inoperable (the primary reason for my stay) until arrived and it was too late to make other arrangements. Very disappointed.

Do not let the positive reviews fool you. This hotel is under construction and its horrible. Hotel Manager is non existent. I checked in at 3am and let staff know that I would be sleeping in until 11am. 630am the jack hammers. never agin. RUN
Location and amazing room with great view of Washington monument . Good food at hotel restaurant too
Website needs to be updated. Traveling with a toddler so was expecting inflatable duck as stated on website to help with baths and also was counting on shuttle back to airport (both not available). Nothing done by staff to reconcile the shuttle issue

It is a bit " off the beaten path". But happily there is a Starbucks right next door.
