The Georgetown House Inn

Location was great, close to great restaurants and attractions.

The water pressure was extremely low in the shower. There was virtually no temperature control in the shower as well. The blinds were also broken and the did not close all the way.

The accommodations were perfect. The room was very organized, clean and refreshing . I loved the openness of the room. The complimentary coffee was right on point .

I can¿t think of negative comments.

It¿s a great location in Georgetown. The rooms are small. Feels like a personal hostel experience. Check in was easy however they still have a hold on my initial deposit even five business days later.

Location can¿t be beat. Good price. Staff was accommodating of my need for luggage storage which was a great help

The location in the heart of Georgetown can't be beat. Very clean.

The room smelled like cigarettes and there were some burn marks on the nightstand and the toilet seat.

The shower was gross with no water pressure and you can hear everything from the upstairs room. Sounded like jump roping at 4:30am was happening!

The room was so modern and comfortable!! The location was great.

The only minor complaint i have is that the floor was really cold and could have used a rug in at least in the bedroom. Overall it was a fantastic place!!

Doors did not have deadbolts which I think is essential for any hotel room. There were fire escape stairs and a landing right outside the bedroom window which would allow unwanted people from street to have easy access. No staffed front desk on site.

Price and location

Very unique. Unlike anything I¿ve stayed at before but highly enjoyed. Fabulous restaurants right outside the door.

The location was great. My room was clean.

The check-in process didn’t work. We were a couple of people who tried unsuccessfully. It was resolved by calling the number but felt like you had to go through the self serve kiosk for nothing.

Location! Requested room change re: noise and request quickly accommodated to wonderfully quiet room.

Great location to shopping in Georgetown and within walking distance to Blues Alley.

This is the first time I used a hotel/inn/airbnb that you get a code to enter the establishment and a code for your room. I’m sure some people like that type of non contact with the establishment and the price was good but it was not for me as a single woman traveling alone. I didn’t like put all my information in a kiosk on the sidewalk as people were walking by. I never saw anyone except someone from housekeeping as I was entering the inn to get to the room I was staying in. A little of an uneasy feeling for me going in and out of the inn.

Had trouble checking in and when I tried to call the person on the other end would only text.
