    Pros +

    • The room was nice and clean
    • Location and breakfast included
    • Size of the room

    Cons -

    • The air switched off. Eric the hotel desk clerk told me the Placery closed at 4 but when I tried to order food he said no one was available to take my order. He didn’t try to call anyone. However, he smiled the entire time. (Which I found was hilarious)
    • Valet only parking and not enough spaces for all hotel guests
    • They charged 1000 dollars extra from the card we gave at check in and says it?s a system glitch and asked us to call after 2-3 business days to get it refunded, When we try to reach them they answer the call and put us on long hold.. Worst Experience

    Size of the room

Unfriendly staff, especially after regular hours. Check-in desk is on the 3rd floor which does not make it easy to actually checkin.

Not as clean as I would have hoped and when we got there they didnt have a room for us because they had overbooked. They found something for us but it took hours. Breakfast wasnt great either.

Prime location: The hotel's location was fantastic, offering easy access to major attractions and public transportation. Comfortable rooms: My room was clean, good spacious, and well-maintained.

Crowded breakfast: The free breakfast, while appreciated, was extremely crowded. There were insufficient tables and seats, and long lines formed for food. On the Friday after Thanksgiving, the hotel inexplicably switched to a regular weekday breakfast.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Only blocks away from the mall ears with monuments and the Smithsonian Museums!

Location was perfect!! 10 minute walk to the Wharf or the National Mall. Front desk staff very helpful with suggestions and information. Breakfast was perfect for my two teen sons.

I was expecting a decent pool, better linens and more comfortable beds for the stars/price point. The couch in our room had stains on it. At Check in, I found out our reservation was cancelled due to using a third party booking system.

It was a very nice experience, the hotel is well maintained and very clean. The hotel localization is very convenient.

I loved the location to everything.

I definitely didn't like the fact of having to pay to park. And I definitely didn't like how the one lady working at the restaurant was not dressed professionally, hair looked unkept and shuffled her feet and looked like bedroom slippers on!

Location, attentive staff. Good price point.

I think the price point is attractive to many people who stay therefore it is busy. This creates a problem for cleanliness. The couch in our room was in desperate need of a deep clean, and this also tells me the carpets needed it too. A balancing act of keeping the guests rotating through at a good price, but also cleaning. I think they should pay attention to the upholstery and carpet cleaning. Stayed in room 301 if the hotel want to check.

A very good business hotel, very clean with good facilities. Very nice area and a very reasonable walk to both the mall, and the restaurant near the wharf. The room itself was fantastic.

    4SherriPosted on: 1-20-2026

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Location was convenient. The valet parking attendant was very friendly and helpful.

The water in the shower did not even get warm. It was to cold to shower in. The water in the sink was hot which I would have preferred the shower to be.. At the buffet breakfast they use powdered eggs and one of the toasters was not working. There was also no microwave in the room.

The property is in a super convenient location to be able to walk to the Smithsonian’s, the monuments, and The Mall. It’s also close to a metro station. We felt comfortable walking around as a family during the day and at night. All the staff were super welcoming and helpful. The included breakfast buffet was awesome - so many options. We had a handicapped room with a foldout couch which gave us plenty of room with a toddler to run around. And the room was quiet and clean.

The only complaints I had are the king bed didn’t come with a comfy plush comforter, it was more like a starched sheet which is strange when it’s 20 degrees outside. The rooms are dated and the gym is small. Also there are no drug or grocery stores nearby if you need anything so plan ahead.

I can’t belive i have to sign up for free water?? No water in room.

Staffs are very rude if you don’t parking with their valet ??

    Clean, good location, free breakfast

    9PaulaPosted on: 1-19-2026

room was huge and clean and didn't smell bad

bathroom lighting was not bright enough and you don't have magnifying mirrors in the bathroom. Those would have made it better.
