Reside Navy Yard, a Wyndham Residence

Our reservation had a note to please hold the room overnight and that my boss would be checking in the following morning (both when I made the reservation and by calling the front desk the evening of the first day).

I really have nothing good to say

it was filthy. The staff was the worst I have every seen in Hospitality. Every single Front Desk person was on their private phone every time I went to ask for help. They ALL would make us feel like we were bothering them when we had issues.

Location, location, location! Very close to bus stops and within a moderate walking distance of Washinton Nationals' stadium.

The check-in can be tricky. Be sure to use the bottom, Salto keypad to use the pin entry, NOT the keypad on top. That one is the doorbell by which guests may allow entry to their company or delivery drivers. Some guests were noisy (blame the price point).

size of room, comfort of bed, large fridge with freezing, kitchen wear, dishwasher although only fridge used

Challenging to find especially in the dark as it is NOT WELL MARKED. Had to stay in a different building and the could not see the code box. A lot of instructions to get in and after a 13 hour drive and at night and tired was not convenient but room made up for it. Difficult to understand the gentleman that checked us in but he was pleasant. Shower way to small and I kept banging my elbows on the wall and door.

I wish there was a small facility to work out in.

I liked that it's close to the train so you can get around anywhere

The customer service during the first two shifts on December 26, 2025, was terrible.However, the woman on the third shift was kind and solved the problem immediately. But the hotel's overall customer service is negligent; those receptionists don't care at all about the customers.

The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Parking was a serious issue and there was a van vandalized as soon as we arrived.

Rooms are brand new amazing no chemical smell good location easy $5 uber to Whole Foods and $10 to Capitol lawn. Great church around the corner. Capitol Hill Community Church. Great mixed young community, worship message and free book by Pastor for all visitors.

Need to realize neighborhood has some poor African Americans living there. Neighborhood is gentrified with expensive blocks close to poor blocks. Safe to walk and I know because I live in Manhattan last $40 years.

Other guests Complaining about tv volume that wasn't really loud. My daughter & i were laughing, enjoying a holiday movie.

Quiet and clean

The mattress was a little hard, but tolerable

All in all it was a nice, well kept, quiet and safe place

Nice amenities. A nice blend of hotel stay, with a door person but also a private apartment room. Hotel was quiet, but I came with my two young children and it was fine.

Nothing buds was everywhere. It’s was filthy in there..

It was things all over the mattress. Floor was dirty birds flying around. Asked for a different room did not get one the worst property ever.

Fantastic location and great little apartment. Didn't really use the kitchen on this trip, but was great to have the resources available and will likely stay here again in the future.

My only real complaint is the room felt humid.
