Location. Long walk to downtown restaurants and bars but maybe a five-minute drive. The common area was very clean and neat, places to sit and watch tv. Good kitchen with modern appliances and lots of room to cook or just have coffee.

This hotel is a must stay if in Silverton! Very old but beautiful and very well maintained. Only possible problem is the lack of an elevator. The high elevation of Silverton could cause breathing problems when climbing to 2nd or 3rd floor.

The room was on the bigger side. The shower pressure is great and the bed is pretty comfortable. They provided full size branded bath soaps that smelled great. Big fluffy towels and in room robes.
