The original old school feel is iconic to the area
This hotel is a must stay if in Silverton! Very old but beautiful and very well maintained. Only possible problem is the lack of an elevator. The high elevation of Silverton could cause breathing problems when climbing to 2nd or 3rd floor.
This hotel has retained a lot of its character from being commissioned in the late 1800s. Centrally located in the center of town close to restaurants and shops.

Bar Restuarant not open TV did not work for me finally figured it out on our own. Kind of a let down for advertised amenities and high cost.

The room was very comfortable although on the 3 floor without an elevator.. The bed was very comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring Silverton and catching the Silverton-Durango train. You can hear people in adjacent rooms,
