Hampton Inn Grand Junction Downtown/Historic Main Street

The mattresses were comfortable.

None of the charging outlets in the room worked. The toilet had a problem with the float and would flush twice and take a long time to fill - which was noisy. The wallpaper was stapled to the wall - the bathroom grout and moldings need replaced.

Great location, clean comfortable room and good breakfast.

I love not only the amenities at the hotel, but the location which provides walking options to the shops, events and restaurants in downtown Grand Junction. The staff is helpful and friendly.

To enter the shower, I had to step up about6 inches which wasn't a problem until I went to exit it. I did not feel very safe stepping down to the floor. Once I figured it out though, it was fine. I am definitely not a morning person.

We stay about two weeks a year at various Hamptons and can never a room on first floor and near elevator, when we know their available..

location on beautiful quaint main street, hotel breakfast had a large selection and staff was really helpful and nice.

Great staff that was always super friendly and helpful! Location downtown was very convenient to walk to all the restaurants and other shops!. Clean rooms. Good selection for continental breakfast and someone was there refilling and maintaining it!

I was not made aware that parking would have a charge o$11 per day. I thought it was free. I would not have scheduled a space for my son¿s truck if I had known there was a charge. As it worked out we didn¿t use the parkway all.

The staff was great. The room was clean. The bed was comfy.

I think paying for parking especially on the weekends when meters downtown are free is a little ridiculous.

The biggest positive surprise was that they had a night light in the bathroom.

No drawers just bins so if you had small items they would fall thru. A single barn style door for the bathroom & closet. This door was faulty as it did not slide smoothly making it difficult to move. Microwave light was too bright.

Staff, location, breakfast

It was a bad experience, we always use a Hampton Inn , but this time was very poor quality, smelled like smoking room , beds sheets smelled like cigarette, I am not saying that all the Hampton inn are bad, but this one , was bad.

Front desk & housekeeping personnel very friendly! Sounds like the housekeeping staff deserves a raise for taking on extra rooms with limited staff. Cookies were awesome and the rooms comfy and VERY clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The location and the free breakfast was a huge plus. Hotel employee was wonderful!

dogs everywhere.. even in the pool. There was a barking dog across the hall from us. It went on for hours.. I was in contact with the front desk and he said he was working on it but never contacted me back. Thankfully the owners showed, 5 hours later.

Downtown is cute

They did not inform me that parking was extra to stay there. I was a bit shocked and it did not leave me with a great feeling. Also breakfast was a very short window, the same schedule as weekdays so we missed that.
