The front desk clerk was accommodating to my request for a refund

The upstairs room smelled like cigarettes and alcohol. The tub had hair in it. The refrigerator was disgustingly gross. The electrical socket that the air conditioning unit was plugged into was melted and burnt

Good location

This hotel by far has been the worst I ever stayed in. Floors look like they never been clean, no toilet paper, no towels,blood stains on the wall. They say no pets but a dog barking all night next to room 115 where I stayed in. Never again, stay away.

Location to business event

Overall the hotel was not clean, it was basically wiped down and that's all. There was "bathroom splatter" on the bathroom door, burnt out vent in the bathroom, black sticky light switches, stains everywhere.

It was available.

They promoted they were in San Diego. They wouldn't cancel my reservation when we found out they were not where they said they were. Also they were closed in the morning at 8:30 am at check out. They charged an excessive amount for what they had.

Lots of room and comfortable bed. Price was too high and no continental breakfast . The front desk clerk was very nice and courteous.

Location, window latch lock broken nothing to secure the window from inside the room

If there is no rooms available in the area, then take this one

This is a 2 story motel with "No Elevator" , Just a flight of stairs Have fun carrying your luggage up and down that, Our front window would not lock, shower had a water leak that streamed to the floor

Was very near a place I had to visit and a great price. Basic but clean and staff was very pleasant.

Nice location, not to far from the beach, zoo and San Diego.

No ice machine and price of the hotel (should have been lower)

The staff was very nice, warm and friendly. This was a last minute booking, and they made me feel at home. The place was not a modern look motel, but the cleanliness of the room was greatly appreciated.

It was a little pricey for it not to have upgrades and renovations done.

Cheapest one around...I thought it was clean for a budget hotel.

The price for this hotel was fair for this area. The staff was very friendly and they didn't hold an exorbitant amount of money for a deposit on my card until check-out.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the TV was good with many channels.

The room was very plain and very small.

It was close to my son's place of of employment. I needed some place local which is why I chose Vista Inn.

I didn't like the fact that there was a tiny amount of toilet paper I'm the bathroom and no other roll provided. I bought a package of toilet paper and brought a roll up to the room.

Well for starters my room one of lights didn¿t work And for the tv is stuck on one channel

Nice honest people. The concierge called me because I had forgotten my purse in a drawer. Thank you.

I like the convenience of the freeway and that it's so close to Oceanside
