Redac Gateway Hotel in Torrance

Convenient location and the bidet were nice. The bathroom and room were very spacious

The hotel and room were relatively clean, but the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned and I had to clean it myself. Most of the equipment in the fitness room were out of order - only free weights and one elliptical were working.

The location

The staff did not do house cleaning UNLESS specifically requested. The carpets were stained, the ironing board was small, the bathrooms were too small, the water temperature was either boiling hot or ice cold. It was a wreck.

Friendliness of the check-in customer service employees. The room was very nice for the price love the heated toilets.

Getting breakfast and coffee in the morning was a little difficult

The Staff

Urine stained sheets Extreme ceiling leak in the restroom. TV kept losing signal throughout my stay. Found large hairball by the restroom. Floor of restroom had a puddle of either urine or water. Room had a foul odor

It is not 3.5 stars! Bugs in room, dirty bed linen, towels stained need to be replaced, rust/damage to walls around windows and baseboards, microwave dirty and rusted inside.

Very clean and spacious room with all the amenities. Courteous and professional staff. Best of all - awesome Japanese breakfast buffet.

I appreciated the nice lobby entry and service at the check-in counter. The staff were warm and welcoming. The parking was simple and clear.

I might have enjoyed more complimentary beverages and snacks.

The tub

There was mouse droppings, the hairdryer almost electrocuted me, staff was horrible.

The hotel is rated 3.5 it is supposed be around 2 max

The toilets let out a urine smell and the hotel is very old,even after making complaints the staff told that it os normal. The staff was not concerned about the issues raised.

Location and relatively quiet

Staff in checking in was rude, busy cleaning work area too long, referred me to colleague, etc.

Our neighbors fought all night. Wouldn?t expect that at a hotel with this star rating. The desk staff seemed unconcerned when we mentioned this to them. We can?t be the only guests that heard the ruckus yet the police were not called.

The hotel itself was nice and the staff was friendly. Some of the furnishings were updated

We never received housekeeping a single time in the 3 nights we were in the hotel. No fresh towels or beds made. Wasn't dirty but wasn't super clean either.

On the second floor some walls were damaged I saw a hole in one area

Close to freeway and food locations

Staff was all rude never spoke to us and had to wait for them to get off the phone or stop talking to each other almost every time we needed something. Horrible experience! Not clean. Restaurant was closed every morning we stayed sodidn?t get breakfast

Location.

The room I stayed at in the 2nd floor had a Brown Spider crrawling on the walll. Very noisy outside and guests there kept slamming there doors coming in and there rooms.

Staff were friendly

Our first room was by the street, too noisy but was moved to a better location when we requested.

Yes I was waken up by a drunk man trying to get in my room thinking my room was his but for the most part I had no complaints at all
