Hotel La Rose

Close to several good restaurants. Comfortable mattresses and quiet room.

Walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, Beauty services, movie theater, Mall.

The staff was very nice and the food in the hotel restaurant was great. Location was awesome for walking.

The Wi-Fi was so bad. I needed to work during my stay as I¿m sure many do. Calls were constantly dropped. I even changed rooms with no change. It really ruined the experience. I stay in Santa Rosa for work a lot. I don¿t recommend this place

Unique because of the age and location. Great restaurant alongside it & great coffee /food across the street. Free gallon bags of ice & bottled H2O @ front desk. Kureg inrooms. Free parking across street. Nice loading/check-in zone right in front.

I was a bit cold in the room. Much better after the maintenance man described the trick to make the room warmer as it has forced air through heated/cooled water tubes.

Charming hotel in a great location

The air conditioner couldn't be adjusted and wished we had a mini refrigerator. Otherwise, very nice room

Hotel Rose was centrally located, spacious, and convenient. Parking was inexpensive, and the surrounding area was very safe. The room (with the exception of the bathroom, which was not exactly suitable for disabled access) was pristine and quiet.

The bathroom needs to have bars around the toilet, which further needs to be higher. The shower needs to be converted to a roll-in with an elongated drain to prevent flooding.

Excellent location very nice and clean.

The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't have a small refrigerator in the room.

Love how they've kept the vintage look with a touch of modern conveniences.

It was too warm in the room even with their "fan" on high. It was hard to sleep.

This was my first stay at La Rose. Because of the solid construction, I never heard a peep from my neighbors. Great restaurants less than a block away as well as the SMART rail station. Friendly, helpful staff. I'll be back.

A step stool to be able to climb into the antique 4 poster bed would have been nice, but I managed without one.

HAD TO PARK IN FRONT OF HOTEL.NO PARKING EXCEPT A LOT ACROSS THE ST ABOUT HALF A BLOCK AWAY. SMELLED MOLDY,CARPET IN ROOM WAS BADLY RIPPLED. THE DOOR ON AMOIRE BROKE OFF WHEN I OPENED IT.PLACE FREAKED OUT MY GRAND DAUGHTER WE DIDNT STAY. DROVE HOME 3 HRS

Decor in keeping with early 1900s. Quiet and comfortable.

Some furniture needs worn out cushions replaced.

We loved the hotel lobby and overall feel of the hotel- cozy, and beautifully decorated. The room itself (22) was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The view was nice also.

The carpeting in the room needed to be re-stretched badly. The bathroom was nice but a bit small. It would have been nice to have the light and fan controlled separately. The fan noise got annoying quickly.

Our room had very high windows with no curtain and a street light shone in all night so it never got dark in the room.

Kinda Funky/Boutiquey. Bed was awesome! Good Continental Breakfast selection.

No Fridge in room. Looked like TV wasn't HD. Bumped my head on the slanted dormer ceiling. No dresser only closet. Parking across the street.

Very comfortable bed and quiet room. Central air, so no noisy room unit cycling off and on all night! Lots of period details in the room and the rest of the building. Beautiful breakfast room with a complete selection of hot and cold food. Friendly staff

The TV was much to small and old. The shower controls were broken but we made them work.
