Hampton Inn & Suites Redding

Location. Close to wear we needed to be but tucked away from business.

Breakfast was ok. It is an inferno in the breakfast area. Tv is small in the room but ok. A/C and fridge were noise. The Hampton in Chico has a huge tv and a better breakfast option. Better rooms. Just comparing same hotels in different areas.

This Hampton Inn was excellent in all ways. The King Studio was spacious and quiet. I don't know how it could have been better! Redding is very nice California small city. Has everything in shopping, restaurants. The weather was even perfect!

The hotel was remodeled.

There were popcorns scattered on the floor. They did not accept my room request through Hilton honor app, so the contactless check in/out or digital key is not available in this hotel, without any notice or explanation.

The rooms are nice looking and comfortable.

First they gave us a room that didn't exist, then when we git our room the bathtub had a old bar of soap and clumps of hair. At this time the staff was very friendly and moved us rooms. Second room the bathtub also had hair in it but at this point its a

We stayed at this same hotel 11 years ago and it was wonderful and very clean.

It really needs and updating overall. Also no towels were down at the pool. Whole place really needs updating.

One table in the dining area we sat at had not been wiped down from whoever ate there last so we moved to another table

Spacious rooms, excellent efforts to keep public areas and rooms clean, terrific location for freeway access and for restaurants and shops. Friendly professional staff. No styrofoam cups and plates. Hooray! Newspapers in lobby!

Hotel room was clean, spacious with a comfortable bed. Exactly what we were looking for.

My room was very big and spacious. It was very well maintained.

With COVID19 regulations there was limited breakfast options. That was not the hotel’s fault, just the current situation.

I liked checking out.

Slow front desk, keys didn’t work, noisy A/C, leaky faucet, skimpy bedding, floodlights pointing in the room, you could hear other quests in their room, not enough parking, no maid service the second day, starting to look run down, mismatched furniture.

The woman who greeted us at the front desk was extremely warm and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and well-supplied.

After drinking my coffee, there were large flakes of dried coffee on the bottom of my cup. Ick. I approached one of the kitchen staff, showed her the stuff in my cup and told her they might want to clean the carafes. She said 'sorry' and walked away...

We were traveling with our 5-year-old grandson. Excellent room, excellent breakfast, ample parking, terrific front desk staff, good location. We could not have asked for a better stay. Will definitely stay here again.

The check-in and check-out staff we're very pleasant. We arrived during the terrible fire season in Redding, CA . This property accommodated many of the fire and rescue professionals. Nice breakfast; clean dining area.

Our Rm had small, but irritating maintenance issues; headboard detached from wall, desk chair unusable wedged under the desk, toilet seat did not stay in the upright position, TV turned off every 10 automatically. Mgr was ON IT right away.

I was at the hotel the second night of the Carr fire. The power went out and the manager was exceptionally professional and courteous under very stressful circumstances. He assured us the power would be back on in an hour and it was. Very pleasant stay.

The print font for the TV channel guide should be larger, please. The coffee in the room was not good but the coffee in the lobby and at breakfast was great. I would have liked to had a phone book (yellow pages) in the room.
