My Place Hotel-Redding, CA

Hotel was very clean and simple no amenities.water pressure was terrible. Ok for one night sleep over but no more.

Our keycard stopped working every other day, which was inconvenient

Very clean, comfy bed, great shower, great mirror in bathroom. Convenient location to I-5 and restaurants. This is a very new hotel so nice to get in while everything is new and fresh.

The lighting is so harsh. Dimmers would go a long way. Hated that the stark white bathroom light came on everytime someone walked in. Tried turning it off, but any movement it turned back on. Wish there was a way to turn it off and on as needed. Loud noise from people walking upstairs.

The beds were very comfortable. The pillows were also nice (they give one firm, one soft per set). The available TV for our kid was good. The kitchenette made us wish our stay could have been longer. They have a larger fridge than most hotel stays. The soap smelled very pleasant. They had ample power outlets for charging all our devices.

The bathroom lights are sensor, so when you walk into the bathroom in the middle of the night you get all the bright lights at once. Also with the bathroom light sensor, while I was showering the lights turned off halfway through my shower and that bathroom is so dark I couldn’t tell the difference between eyes open or closed. Might be a safety issue, but they turned right back on when I opened the curtain.
