Pros +
- Location
- The staff was great, the room was clean and comfortable, I would stay there again.
- The staff was courteous and friendly. The room was quite clean, and I believe the bed linens were new and good quality.
Cons -
- Did not have an elevator. Did not have some amenities in room like other hotels have eg shower cap,
- it was 100 degrees outside and the pool was closed, would have been nice to go for a swim.
- The mechanical systems of this hotel are old and tired. The door lock never worked, and I had to get the staff to open the door for me. The hot water went out for several hours.

All rooms on the front side of the hotel have great views of the eastern Sierra Nevada---with snow. Lovely pink sunrise.
Low water pressure.
Normally, great service!
10-28-24... Lone Pine, CA. The front desk clerk was incredibly rude. She was so unprofessional and appeared to have a big chip on her shoulders. Her people skills were atrocious. It felt like she had a big problem with men.

Staff were very nice
1.5 miles from the bus station and downtown
The staff is willing to work with you. They were very accommodating when the website booked the hotel on a wrong date. They provided reasonable accommodation within their ability, and the stay was pleasant.
24 hour front desk. Service in breakfast room.
Instructions for using card key to open doors. Only ibstrucions from front desk was to slide card slowly in slt. Stood outside door in freezing rain trying fifferent combinations of handle as well as card key. Finally got something to work.
The breakfst is definitely on the poor side with only powdered eggs (a bit watery) and no pastries or bread. The only fruit was green apples.
location and cleanliness. also like the early start time for the breakfast--6 a.m.
staff not welcoming. breakfast very weak. Cheap fringes for what I thought should have been a good hotel--e.g. cheap toilet paper, cheap breakfast.
Nice and clean. Located outside of town.
They could add more hot selections to their breakfast.
Friendly service and was nice and warm
Crack in bathroom
We were traveling with our dog and it was wonderful to be able to a access the beautiful pet area by our rooms back door. The grassy area was well maintained and it seemed more like our very own backyard. We are looking forward to coming back.
It was obviously well cleaned and prepped for us during Covid. We loved that even though they couldnâ≢t serve continental breakfast, they had prepackaged breakfasts available to their guests. Other places weâ≢ve stayed havenâ≢t offered anything.
It was located outside of the main area of Lone Pine, in the direction I was headed out the next day.
The bathroom is not updated like the room. I was on the first floor and there were guests on the second floor. The walls are thin, so you can hear them talk and walk around. The floors are really thin and creaks.
Room was clean and ready for use.
The HVAC system was controlled by a wall unit. The unit did not work properly and caused room to get either hot or cold.
Nice view of Mt Whitney. Windows that could open to let the fresh air in. Room was in good condition.
Breakfast room was tiny and crowded. Narrow stairway.
We got to the hotel when it was dark outside and we awoke to the stunning view of Mt. Whitney!
Breakfast area was very crowded. We should have eaten earlier!
