Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Fresno River Park

The remodeled room was nicely decorated and clean.

This hotel was under construction. The lobby, breakfast area and bottom floors were completely torn up. The pool was closed. The walls are thin and I could hear my neighbors' normal-volume conversations.

The room was large with good air-conditioning and large TV. The breakfast was adequate.

We were ready for a swim and dip in the jacuzzi but was told that the whole pool area was closed for renovations!!! There was a bit of dust and debris due to the construction which we did not know about before booking this hotel! Room needed a table.

Location

Requested a ground floor room in reservations, but didn't accommodate me. I am a senior and traveling alone. It was difficult to manipulate baggage up and down elevator. Cable tv wasn't working, was too exhausted to deal with it. And call manager.

Plenty of parking.

The pool was dirty and the Keurig didn't close properly so I had to hold it down in order for it to work.

Clean, modern, new feel. Staff are very helpful and receptionist staff and cleaning crew need recognition and continued support. Breakfast is good option. Wonderful experience for relaxing on trip. Location feels safe too.

To be perfect, Some carpet stains on halls can be cleaned up and maintained. . Add seasonal fruits (grape, strawberry, apple, melon, etc, to breakfast options. Otherwise nothing major and hope staff continue keeping faculties like new.

Clean, quiet and good location.

The staff was incredibly friendly. The room was huge and comfortable. It had a great location near shopping, restaurants, and parks.

One of the towels in the room had a huge stain in the middle of it. I'm choosing to assume it had been washed and was just stained, but it was still too stained to be reused. It just made me think that the attention to detail for cleaning was not at a 10.

Spacious room

Toilet had a leak on the floor. Poor sound proofing to you the next room. The neighbors were quiet, but I could still hear their conversations.

Centrally located.

In no way did this property meet our expectations as to what a nearly $---/night room would typically reflect. Dated, poor repair (shower rod falling off), and suspect mold coming through ducts - became congested and burning/red eyes every night in room.

Great location on the way to Yosemite. Nice bowling nearby. Good, safe area to park, no homeless. Friendly staff, decent breakfast.

Door and water faucet handles need adjustment.

Staff were very nice

Everything listed as being included in the room was not available, also not as clean. Breakfast had minimal selections and wasn¿t as good as most breakfast buffets. Shampoo and conditioner wasn¿t even enough for one person for one shower.

We arrived late & was given a room w/a tub in open area w/a side panel door that wouldn¿t close. I asked for a different room. I have 2 yr old and didn¿t want him getting into anything. Front desk staff was annoyed. Move us to a room that we had to clean.

The bed was comfy.

The breakfast was limited and there were stains on the carpet near the trash can and refrigerator.

May need to periodically check grass outside the hotel. Some pet owners are not cleaning up after their pets!!!!

Clean, and well kept. Unlike La Quinta downtown Fresno which is TRASH!!

The only thing I would like is breakfast a little earlier. That’s all.

The decor was modern.

Had family staying across from us who were loud called front desk after 11 pm didn’t get quiet till 1 am.

The beds are very comfortable, waffles are the best and staffs are very friendly

I had one bad incident where I walked into a filthy room that wasn't cleaned

Quiet location, big comfortable bed, and breakfast was delicious.

I arrived late in the evening, but the staff greeted me kindly. The hotel room was very comfortable and good. The breakfast was also delicious.

It wasn't time to check out, but the housekeeper knocked on the door. It was a little uncomfortable.
