Cafeteria Staff
I really liked the ample parking and easy access to the building. The room was very large and included a desk, couch with ottoman, wet bar area, and I have to say that I really slept well. The bed and pillows were perfect for me.

I get that they are trying to update and make this hotel better. I give them credit for that but that's about it. Well, there is a Starbucks right next to it. Only good thing about this hotel.

Location, breakfast.
It is a quick stop off the freeway, but no noise from the cars, which was fantastic. It is also a added bonus that there was an In n Out burger next door for a late night meal. The rooms were nice in size and it was a quick drive to the beach in the AM

I like that there was a fridge and microwave in the room and that both were clean. Linens were fresh and clean.
Location. Its nearby the places that I wanted to visit and easy to book a uber

The hotel was a drug addict hotel. It had look outs for the police at every corner. Drug addicts knocking on all the doors asking for handouts. It was the absolute worst hotel I've ever been to in my life.
Nothing really to like about this place. Staff is polite though. We had to book it last minute for 2 nights and this was the only one motel was available for $---/night (1 star motel!) But I guess it could be worse.. No cockroaches were noticed :)
I did not like anything about this motel. It appeared to cater to long-term motel guest.

Location was fantastic. Customer service was amazing.
Complimentary wine and water in the room. Beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes etc to use at the beach.
The hotel management stole $1,500 dollars from me. I do not recommend this hotel at all for not taking care of its guests.

The Cleanliness Of The Room And Friendly Hotel Staff.
The staff has been great. They accept cats.
Rooms are being renovated and ours had just been completed. It was a very small room but adequate for us. The bed was extremely hard and we had a difficult time trying to sleep. The manager was very congenial and made sure we had a ground floor room.

Top Tips
- Stay along the Warner/Brookhurst hotel corridor for the quickest access to I-405 and John Wayne Airport (SNA), just 12 miles (15-25 minutes off-peak). This location can save 10-20 minutes compared to hotels farther south or in central Fountain Valley, streamlining airport and Anaheim trips for business or leisure travelers.
- Most Fountain Valley hotels include free self-parking, avoiding Anaheim/Disney lot charges of $25-$40 per day. This benefit is especially helpful for families or guests renting cars—verify parking policies directly with your hotel before arriving.
- Choose John Wayne Airport (SNA) for a reliable 12-mile (15-25 minute) drive to Fountain Valley. Avoid Los Angeles International (LAX) for regional travel, as it is 35-45 miles (40-80 minutes) away, often adding 30-60 minutes to your airport transfer.
- Account for I-405 peak hour congestion through Fountain Valley, which may add 20-45 minutes to weekday commutes between 7-9:30 AM and 3:30-7 PM. Plan airport and meeting departures with this delay in mind.
- Fountain Valley does not have a direct rail station; the nearest Metrolink/Amtrak stops are 10-12 miles away in Santa Ana or Irvine. Expect to rely on a rental car, OCTA bus, or rideshare—check route maps in advance if using local transit.
- Tap water in Fountain Valley meets California state standards and is safe to drink. Request bottled water only for personal taste, not for health reasons.
- During Anaheim events such as large conventions or the OC Fair, book your Fountain Valley hotel 2-4 weeks in advance. This helps lock in lower nightly rates and secure free parking, as prices may rise by 20% or more and sellouts are common.
