Continental Inn San Diego Hotel Escondido

The location was amazing. 20 min away from sandigo zoo

The carpet was wet when we arrived and ac didn't work

Location close to freeway and restaurants

Constant strong smell of skunky marijuana especially in carpeted stairwell, bathroom was small and toilet was in poor condition

Room was clean, complementary breakfast was good, hotel associates were professional and polite. I will definite stay here again.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The staff went above and beyond to try and make up for the state of the hotel.

-breakfast was not good -the outlets in the room no longer worked -bathroom had the previous person's hair all over it -price was too high for a hotel that used to be nice, but was no longer nice

They did not have central ac The swamp cooler made the room feels damp and musty .

Easy to find after 5 hour drive from Ventura County, CA. Close to food vendors we like. Close to Thai Temple on 11th we visited during the weekend. Extremely knowledgeable staff; easy check-in/out. Comfortable room and WiFi worked.

Not a dislike. The AC-Heating unit remote control written instructions were not detailed enough to get the room temp changed; temperature was OK, so I didn't bother staff for help. If temp was uncomfortable, I would have called for help.

Easily accessible off of the freeway. Loved having a little balcony, although there was no view. The room had plenty of space. The breakfast was a step up from a basic breakfast.

The bathroom looked a little dirty but I think that was in part due to needing some updates.

Nice and clean room with microwave and refrigerator. Also very nice complimentary breakfast.

While they were renovating they made no effort to keep the pool area clean. Cups dishes plastic fork were there day after day. Even fake fingernails were not swept away but left on the pool deck. Tables were never cleaned

Hotel is being remodeled, staff made up for any short comings. Better breakfast that at Hilton's that i have sated at in the last 3 months.

Poor breakfast. Not set up to feed that number of people. Tripped circuit breaker 2-3 times per meal.

The best thing about the hotel was the free food, the staff that was there preparing the food was so nice, and courteous

when I asked for extra towels, it took them half of a day to return back with towels

The reception staff is not very friendly and I have stayed here now 4 times in a month. I also feel the price is high for the room quality.

Location off the freeway, walking distance to fast food and coffee shop, complimentary breakfast, free Internet. Staff members were accommodating and very courteous.

The sink was clogged when we got there late at night. It didn't drain all night after we brushed our teeth. Black stuff was coming out of the drain when other rooms used their sinks. It was disgusting. We told the clerk in the morning but they didn't
