Best Western Escondido Hotel

We were in town for a disc golf tournament and this hotel's location was perfect. It was only 1 mile from the course and had many wonderful restaurants close by. They had a nice breakfast. We used the pool and hot tub everyday.

The staff was lovely.

The pillows were tiny and gave me a neck pain; The water pressure was low and the water was cold.

Nothing exceptional to comment on.

bathroom light took forever to turn on. Definitely a poor connection.Obviously,was on a timer and it kept going off!!Left in the shower in the dark!This a major headache! The AC made one side of the room extremely cold and the other uncomfortably warm.

Very friendly staff, nice continental breakfast

Carpets were musty and could use a thorough shampooing. Could not walk barefoot in the room.

I stay in this hotel every time I visit friends in Escondido. It is in the most convenient location, plus is easy access to the freeway and gas station. Check in is easy, the beds are super comfortable and showers have decent water pressure.

I feel like I am a "returning" customer and sometimes the rates are better than other times. I don't feel there is much consistency in price. This hotel is a little more expensive than several others in the area, but I do like this one the best.

While showering the hot water would go from hot to cold mostly in a gradual manor so we had to be constantly adjusting. That wasn't to bad but there was a sudden change from cold to hot and it caused me to fall and extremally hot water was hitting me.

The hotel staff very friendly and courteous. The rooms were very clean, and beds comfortable.

It had a room with a bed in which I could spend the night.

Everything in the san diego area was way to expensive,including this place,as people wanted to go to a comic book convention.what a world...

Room was spacious

It has not been updated since 1980s. No parking when there is a meeting there. Laundry facilities (only 1) payment machines did not work.

Quiet, clean, and functional hotel. Exactly what needed and expected.

Location was super convenient to everything. Easy on and off freeway, close to gas, grocery, and restaurants. My pet peave in a hotel is the water pressure is enough to rinse the shampoo out of my hair! This one was surprisingly good for California!

I couldn¿t get the TV to work. It wasn¿t that big of a deal for me, I didn¿t complain, but as I checked out, the desk person told me that it was probably because a previous guest had moved the HDMI cable to plug in their own device. Just an FYI in ca

Bathroom smelled terrible when we got there and didn¿t get better the entire time. Asked for a different room and was decided, no compensation in price to deal with the smell at all.

My room was very clean. AC worked great, plus the windows open, which I appreciate! There¿s a shaded smoking area outside and hotel staff are friendly. Pool was better than expected and very enjoyable.

Breakfast isn¿t great, but what you might expect to get at a best western.

The hotel is in a good location and was fairly clean. The staff was friendly and breakfast was convenient and ok quality. This is a solid 2.5 star option, we paid a lot more than it was worth but would stay here again especially if the rate was lower.

Hotel was not in excellent condition there was some peeling paint, mold stains in the shower etc. The internet wasn't great, low signal and I was kicked off often.

The rooms are very quiet and comfortable and good breakfast

Everything was fine I just wish they had hot coffee in the lobby

I specifically requested a wake up call as there were no alarm clocks in the room. No wake up call a missed my flight! Disappointed!!

The gentleman that helped me check in was very friendly and accommodating.

The room smelled of animal urine when we arrived, it was disgusting, I¿m the morning while packing up the woman who came by our room accused us of smoking in the room, even though there was no odor of smoke and no cigarettes and we were charged 300$

The hotel was conveniently located to the freeway and other destinations in the area. The room and linen were clean. The pool area was tidy. The to-go breakfast bag was generous.

The rooms are showing their age and the carpet looked dirty.

The location is fantastic

It seems to be an older building so it's a bit loud since it's by the freeway.
