TV was small, and remote didn't work very well. After the front desk lady said it was ok to throw away small, broke down cardboard in the trash, the owner of the hotel wasn't too professional, said that i could use the trash. Cardboard is free to recycle!

It’s easy to book and get to room and discreet

I didn’t like the moldy smell I smelt at first and I didn’t like that the rate raised so much the next day! I also did not like that it was totally booked when I was ready to pay for another night.

Pet friendly & super clean! Good water pressure & nicely tiled shower. Breakfast has actually good food: bacon, eggs & waffles

The location is a tad bit gritty due to its proximity to the highway, but it’s Escondido so we weren’t expecting a gated community! 5 minute walk to the flea market if you’re into that - it looked like a great place to shop & get food on a Sunday

Absolutely nothing! This place is false advertisement!

This hotel houses drug addicts and homeless people! It is very run down and unsafe! Staff and manager are rude! I did NOT stay here and I want a refund!!!

Good price, good location

Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausages, and waffles. Everything had to be carried back to the room, because there was no other place to eat. With 2 plates, juice and coffee, that was 2 trips per person per day. Also the shower head was only 5 feet high.

Comfortable beds, good breakfast.

It was on the second floor and there was no elevator which we did not realize when we booked the room.

Offered breakfast, but you had to take the meal back to your room. Only one chair for two people

First of I had roaches in my room and I don't like paying a deposit and then a cleaning Deposit so I had to come out my pocket again don't ever put me in that hotel again

I didn't understand charging for the third guest in a room that acommodates four people. Considering it was the holidays and two of the guests are special needs/handicapped I thought charging an additional $10 a day was ridiculous.

Office called us 5 minutes before checkout to ask why we hadn't checked out yet.

Staff was extremely rude and condescending. Room was exceptional filthy. Hotel charged additional fees because we reserved room through Priceline. Will never stay at this property again.

Everything was perfect until Hurricane Hilary hit and I had to evacuate -- could not stay my last night.

I didn't understand the $6 "service fee", but other than that, my stay (before the storm) was delightful.

Let¿s just write a list. The eight dollar fee checking in. The fact that it¿s a start up for section 8 housing. The area isn¿t the most pleasant. You can¿t visibly see the no smoking signs¿.but if you smoke near your room you get yelled at. Pool is dirty.

Clean room

Breakfast wasn't available until 830 AM. I had to leave before that both days and got no breakfast. Most hotels begin breakfast at 630 or 7. And After I checked out, a day later I had a $4 charge on my card. Bad!

Near by the freeway

They post nice pictures when the rooms have bad showers,dirty floor, chairs with weird stains, roaches, very bad maintenance on the units.The manager super unprofessional.

The two, cloth upholstered room chairs were obviously stained . When I scrubbed the chairs clean with room towels , I was charged $30.00 against my incidental deposit for "stained towels" . Air conditioner filters were heavily clogged with debris.
