Hyatt House San Jose/Cupertino

No complaints. Clean, well-maintained with all amenities. I especially liked the refillable shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers, rather than individual single-use containers.

Great staff. Clean. No fees for parking. Great breakfast. Comfortable room.

Room door was difficult to open sometimes.

Cleanness

We were looking for a refundable room for the Super Bowl and this for the criteria. The staff were wonderful.

The bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows are not good. Housekeeping comes every two days.

The facilities and location were very good. The room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was sufficient with a nice range of foods and fresh omelettes.

The hotel could have arranged their guests a little better. On our floor were a number of families with very small children that were not well behaved and were running about the hall and screaming late at night.

Swimming pool, gym and location

We were staying on 1st floor and there were loud noises at night coming from upper floor. Large bed is too small for 3 people.

Excellent. Good choices for everyone in the family, including my grandchildren.

I didn’t know that it ended at 930, so I requested some oatmeal except it was cold. Coffee was not available either. The day before I got hot breakfast, closes at 10. That was confusing.

Great hotel - large room with separate lounge area and kitchenette. Comfy bed. Brilliant buffet breakfast - staff lovely. Wandering distance into Cupertino downtown and lots of options to eatThe perfect location to explore Silicon Valley as well as San Francisco city and catch the 49ers game!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, breakfast was great!

Clean, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, lots of areas to sit and relax or meet throughout, plus a great gym, pool, grills, bikes to rent. Fabulous free breakfast and parking. Close to shops and restaurants. Helpful and kind staff.

There remains an unfinished tear down and rebuild of a mall and parking garage so the immediate surroundings are a bit of an eyesore and not conducive to walking around.

This place is awesome. We will always search out a Hyatt House or a Hyatt place when we travel. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The place is spotless. The breakfast and the breakfast help are amazing, friendly and attentive. I overheard the front desk telling a family they had eggs hidden around the place to find them. How thoughtful on Easter Sunday. I cant say enough good things about our experience. Great job. Cant wait to come back.

Housekeeping staffs and breakfast service team are welcoming and professional. Keeping everything clean and tidy. Front desk team is friendly and approachable except one lady I believe her name is Alex ( per other team member)? Never any eye contact, no greeting, no acknowledgment to all customers, male, female, white or not, day or night. Just looking down at her screen or desk. Perhaps she is extremely shy or self conscious. Or she doesn’t work at the front desk? Just strange. Overall it’s an excellent decent spacious accommodation with parking and soundproofing windows/doors for business travelers who need to spend weeks on the road.

I understand this Hyatt House is popular and accommodating customers’ preferences is not easy. But I had to try every single morning since Day one to get to the room I prefer. There is no initiation from the front desk. Secondly, I’m a dog lover and a long time dog owner. I love and respect hotel that accommodate dogs. However, when customers left their dog in the room and let the dog literally cried ( definitely not whining) for hours since 8am. That’s heartbreaking. Housekeeping team should have notified the front desk timely, not waited until our call for concern. I guess it would be excellent if this Hyatt House can refer customers to a Hyatt preferred dog day care facility, I’m sure customer will likely comply with the guideline not leaving his/her dog behind alone in the room if the dog suffered from separation anxiety ( confident or independent quiet dogs are ok).

I really loved staying at this hotel- it was honestly such a treat. The room was smartly designed and the staff were amazing. Fun little area with restaurants (conveyor belt sushi!) and coffee shops within walking distance. I considered switching my hotel for the remainder of my stay in the area because of the convenience, comfort and staff.

The location was central. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and well appointed. The shower head was great. Breakfast was excellent!

The room is newly renovated, emitting a strong smell, possibly from VOCs or other gaseous chemicals emitted in new furniture.
