    Pros +

    • Very open, spacious hotel with nice, clean room. Great tub, good for relaxing. Big comfy bed, not too high, not too low. Friendly, accommodating staff.
    • Location within a very cute and walkable town
    • We are regulars here and it is wonderful.

    Cons -

    • Wish there were a pool or room service available, but many, many dining options right across the street. The sink is a little too high for a 5 yo child to reach on her own, would've liked a handheld shower.
    • Not that I didn’t like this, but it’s one of the criticisms I have for smaller boutique hotels and that is restaurant bar closes early. This is a holiday weekend and it would’ve been nice if those things are open until midnight rather than closing at nine.
    • There was a ton of noise after 12; either the air conditioning or something else but very noisy.

The staff was amazing, so helpful. The bar was wonderful, great drinks and food. Breakfast was better by far than most hotels. The outdoor patio area is huge and with inviting couches and firepits. The room was big and has very nice furnishings. Claremont is a beautiful college town. We took a nice walk each morning. There are eateries everywhere and a very nice plaza with a movie theater on the same block as the hotel.

The only down side is the metro into LA is nearby. You do hear the train go by about a block and a half away. They are short as you hear them wiz by, but do happen throughout the day. It didn't bother us at all. On the upside if you are going to LA it will take you right downtown and you can Uber anywhere from there.

We ate breakfast at the patio. Very pleasant atmosphere,

Should have been "wiped down" between guests. When we sat down for breakfast, table had coffee stains on table from prior diners.... Ug...

Breakfast, bartender, and commitment to sustainability were excellent. Bed was comfy. Cleaners were great. Shower was good. Enough outlets for all my chargers. Great patio.

Check out time was a little early. Not sure where the stairs were - had to use the elevator.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The large patio balcony was so relaxing and fun. The layout of the hotel was easy to get around and the open main floor patio with lights was nice to just sit and hang out with friends and family. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Nothing, it was a great stay.

Casa 425 is a very nice boutique hotel. Nicely appointed, clean, comfy rooms, plush bed, nice bathroom, overall a nice, brief stay. I liked the courtyard and 'lounge' vibe. They have a decent restaurant/bar with good food and drinks. The continental breakfast was actually pretty good. The hotel does have a bar, although I didn't visit the bar directly. The hotel located in the Claremont village so there are lots of nice restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Being a boutique style hotel, there is no pool or spa area just fyi. There is parking available but it is located across the street in a public parking garage, but you have to park at level 2 or above. Otherwise, no real complaints here.

Room and BR is spacious and comfortable. Iron, hairdryer, & refrigerator are nice in-room amenities.Room service from the on-site restaurant/bar was good. Location is within walking distance to lots of shops & restaurants. Loved the vibe of the outdoor courtyard lounge area.

The very loud live music/ singers playing in the courtyard each night made it impossible to relax, read, watch TV, or sleep in my room until after 11:00 pm. I was traveling for work and had to be at 8:00am meetings Thursday-Sunday. I felt like I was staying at a nightclub instead of a hotel where people sleep. My room was on the 2nd floor, west side…were the speakers pointed right at my room?

Good size rooms, quiet, nice outdoor seating, good WiFi

I love the hotel, I'm a Four Sisters fan :) great bar, food and service. Great location, I visit family once a year and this is my choice of locations, they are in the Claremont and OC areas and unless you go to the coast there are no good options.

I felt the room was better appointed this time, but there is a musty moldy smell, maybe the air filters need changed or there is a leak

Loved our stay! Adorable boutique hotel in walking distance to the cute town of Claremont

    10jacquelinePosted on: 12-28-2023

Incredible room, so much space. Had a beautiful living and dining space.

    6MicahPosted on: 12-20-2023

    Great location, friendly staff.

The rooms have full floor to ceiling windows facing a public courtyard. If you'd like any privacy while in the room, you'll need to totally close the blackout curtain, leaving the small window at the other end of the room as the only source of natural light. In order to leave the room, you need to open the curtains to get through the door, and there's no way to close the curtains from outside, so if you have left anything out in the room it will be on full view of anyone walking by.

Great beds, nice room, great start

Breakfast was the weakest point. Poor quality ingredients.

Very good location in the Claremont Village. Decent size room with wooden floors . Small but adequate breakfast with excellent fruit.

Overpriced for what you get . You paying purely for the location . Staff other than one lady , Christina, were unpleasant and rude and had no idea on customer service .

    7ZhouPosted on: 7-3-2023

the bad not comfortable, very bad quality mattress. the bathroom and the tub is great! breakfast is fair. location is perfect if the claremont colleges are the destination.
