Carmel Garden Inn

The room was cozy with a fireplace and not a sterile modern place. More like a country cabin. Very clean. Private patio under the trees. Walking to restaurants and shopping was easy.

Great and attentive staff. Cute room and perfect location. Everything was so close by. I walked everywhere! And breakfast is included and it's yummy!

Cute and charming little place, very clean and in great condition, pet friendly. A little off the main strip in Carmel but not too far to walk. Parking a little tight but not a deal breaker. All in all a great stay!

The employees were all really nice. They were probably the owners, too. It seemed like a family operation. They made a nice breakfast and were always helpful and courteous. The hotel is smaller but had plenty of personality...not the normal hotel.

It's really better suited for two people in a room. The accommodations for four amounted to a pull out couch that wasn't very comfortable.

David, Heather, wine and cheese in the afternoon, fritatta and coffee cake and good coffee in the morning. Quiet area and old world cozy!

Everyone made my granddaughter and I feel so welcome, we don't have any money so this was a big treat for us. The room was so clean and cozy and the bed was wonderful.

It was perfect, nothing NOT to like!

Staff is warm and friendly no bells and whistles has WiFi fireplace was better than any I've had in my home we were in the violet room husband loved the matress, and I the sheets.Felt homeynquick walk to the beach all I can say, can't wait to go BACK

The hotel was a bit further from the main street than I thought it would be, but it was cozy and quiet in the neighborhood. Carmel-by-the-sea is a sleepy place to relax after some hiking in Big Sur

breakfast area was a little cramped and did not open til 8, so I did not really get to partake as I had to be at meetings by then. They did offer to give me some fruit and yogurt to take with me.

All of the staff are marvelous people and very helpful and kind. Wine and cheese in the evening was fun and relaxing. Bed was excellent.

The room we stayed in was very small, but other rooms that we checked out were very nice sized.

Location is great, happy hour was very nice, room is very Carmel. People are very friendly.

Room is small be manageable.
