    Pros +

    • That it was on the 2nd floor - and very modern looking. Very nicely decorated - and cool
    • Amenities around the resort to stay busy during stay
    • The location. Most everything else will be in the negative comments below.

    Cons -

    • The bugs: I had two crickets chirping all night long. When I first checked in, there was a dead cockroach underneath my bed & had housekeeping come to remove it.
    • No daily cleaning service. Some of the games around the resort were not available, for example tennis courts had balls but no rackets, had pickleball rackets, but no balls.
    • Many things wrong. They launched a new computer system. Staff clearly had no training. "Sorry. We launched a new system today". So what? It doesn't apply to us.Yet we were subjected to bogus billing and had to wait for our room since no one had a clue.

What a beautiful unexpected gem! The ¿Zorro¿ is a fabulous place to stay. The staff was helpful and accommodating, our room was ready early, loved the patio and huge room. Restaurant food was fabulous!

Gorgeous grounds, spectacular location, and beautiful room

    No free breakfast on weekends

The Diego Rivera piece in the lobby. The restaurant staff was gracious and accomodating.

    Too many to mention.

    Room comfort pool and amenities

    10ShaunaPosted on: 5-9-2017

The renovation is great; kept the tradition feel with nice modern upgrades. My family started visitin here in the early 1970s and made it a tradition to visit every year. I haven't been back since my twenties and was impressed with the way they kept it up

Some of the outdoor amenities do need to be updated including the Stargazer Theater (needs clean up and lounges) and the croquette(worn and on sand). If they are advertising these they should be impressive. Room service was also very slow.

Quiet, Beautiful, and private pool was great

One thing ... beds where not comfortable in Casita

    10BryanPosted on: 2-1-2017

They have a starlight theater that is a huge area in the back of the resort that is you can see the most amazing stars. Pools are awesome and workout gym is the largest and best. Tennis was great. Best is after the $25 fee all is included.

The restaurant is too expensive at night but you can get a good breakfast and get in the butterfly room for a little more than in town $15.

Everything was immaculate; buildings are attractive and very well-constructed. The room was beautiful and spacious. And what a great setting!

    7HowardPosted on: 2-18-2015

Desert setting. Had great potential. But the service and food were mediocre and disappointing for the reputation and cost.
