    Pros +

    • Loved the small quaint room for one with no TV it was perfect and quiet! Just what the doctor ordered! I will be back for more.
    • The Staff and of course our room. The Staff was very nice..we enjoyed talking with them and the location is right around the corner from downtown Bisbee..We are going back!! Just the Staff made you feel welcomed..and I love that in a hotel experience.
    • It has a quirky and unique feel.

    Cons -

    • I loved everything!
    • The room was musty, extremely poorly lit, and had a strong, stale, unpleasant odor. We checked out within an hour and found a different place to stay.
    • Rooms need serious love. New paint and simplified decor would make huge difference. Get rid of nasty carpet. Can keep historical charm, with simple updates. But..we knew it was going to be quirky and an experience going in. And it was!

Very old. Can hear everything around. Had to keep room warm with electric heater. Shower water was barely a trickle of water. No tv in rooms. Wasn¿t any variety of food for breakfast.

Ive stayed at Castle Rock almost every time I come to Bisbee. I absolutely love it. It's cozy, charming, and unique. The staff is always so kind and accommodating.

    Nope!!

    a lot of character

No TV in bedroom and was supposed to get a queen bed and had a double bed.

    The location

We didn't get the room we reserved. The room we got was alittle overwhelming for my granddaughter. Geronimo theme.

    10KellyPosted on: 5-15-2022

It¿s a great location, comfortable, and offered lots of extras like community spaces and breakfast. Owner was delightful.

We were fortunate to be there when there were very few other guests. The Inn is quirky and homey, which we enjoyed. It¿s location is perfect.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-30-2020

    It eclectic.

The rooms are small and the room we stayed in had a little bonus room but it was way too hot to sleep in. No fan or AC and the room overall was hot.

Not 1 single thing can be said about this place. I have to go back to town everywerk for next 7 weeks & will be using a different hotel provider.

This hotel was the worst experience in all my travel days! There where dead bugs & live spiders everywhere. No parkiing at hotel, had to park my car 1/4 of a mile away & walk in the dark to hotel. The property & surrondings is poorly taken care of.

Charming miners lodge turned into a unique hotel with lots of character. Every room is different so your experience will depend a little on what room you get. Furnishings are on the older side but we thought it added to the character. Great experience!

The 1st room we got was cute but tiny. We switched and it was awesome. Breakfast was do-it-yourself cereal and bagels. Fine for us but I expected more- like a quiche or breakfast casserole.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-8-2018

The 18th century vibe. It was spooky as expected for a haunted hotel.

They did not have a hot tub as described in the description.

    10LoraleiPosted on: 2-14-2017

It was a very old building but the quaintness and uniqueness definitely made up for that. The staff was awesome and the owner even lives on the premises and socializes with everyone. As he said, "once you stay here - you're family".

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-3-2016

I loved the location and the staff was very nice. The hotel has a story behind it which was awesome. The rooms were cute and the beds were comfortable

I wish the rooms had a fridge and/or microwave so you didn't have to eat out but it wasn't a deal breaker. Would definitely stay there again.

    10EmilyPosted on: 1-10-2016

The manager, was very welcoming and helpful. Her stories of the building's history helped us to appreciate its quirkiness!

Be prepared for an experience that is eclectic and funky rather than pristine and elegant.

This historic hotel this is my second time staying here if you are looking for all the fancy thrills this hotel is not for you. But if you are looking for a hotel that says Bisbee az this is the one for you. Great festivals + music and a great vib

The swing on the front porch is amazing to sit out there and enjoy the weather.

Could have had a better breakfast
