Evening Shade Inn

The,friendliness of the owners, the love and kindness shines thru their work . The room was peaceful and rather lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Made with love. The property is woodsy and quiet.

The visit wasn't long enough.

This place is great. We were skeptical booking the room but when we arrived (late) the while experience was outstanding we were so happy to pick Evening Shade for a weekend getaway

1st day it was wonderful. 2nd day we got nothing. 8am they were still in bed!

Room was adequate. Nicely appointed. Outside needed attention. Dead mums and empty flower pots at the door to office. Lawn needed mowed. Railings need painted. Eaves full of debre.

Shane and Shira were wonderful. The cottage was perfectly clean and stocked with everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again!

Breakfasts were amazing! Loved having a homemade breakfast delivered to our room each morning. The owners were super nice and very helpful when it came to recommendations. The rooms were spacious and cozy!

Spacious, clean, comfortable bed and seating! Owners have provided everything we could possibly want or need. Breakfast was delivered in a basket to our door, hot and delicious. Soft and absorbent towels, good shower.

Great property! Minor issues: Back door to deck needed adjustment to open more easily. Could use safety grab bars in the shower.

My only concern was finding some old snacks (expired 2024 and 2022), which we ended up throwing away so they could be refreshed for the next guest. Aside from that, I really enjoyed the location, the delicious food, and especially the wonderful hospitality of the owner.

We loved Evening Shade Inn. The room was spacious & immaculately clean. The host was friendly and warm. Breakfast was very good & delivered to the room each morning at a time we requested. There was great attention to detail and the bed was comfortable. The room was actually like a suite with everything need provided for.

My only negatives were that the curb appeal was lacking with weeds and overgrown plants and the ice machine was out of order the whole time. I world suggest putting small ice trays in the freezer on the small fridge to meet that need.

The room was so clean and maintained. Breakfast was brought to the door in a basket every morning and was gourmet.My wife forgot her toothbrush and I called office if they might have one, within 5 minutes Shawn delivered one to our door.

The owners are so friendly. They were always available and very informative. They are certainly not afraid to engage in a nice long conversation. I honestly was worried because the website pictures looked like everything was so aged but it was immaculate. They put so much work in keeping everything so clean and comfy! Breakfast was delivered to our room and the afternoon dessert was a pleasant surprise. They provided snacks and drinks, robes and big fluffy towels. We canceled our plans one morning just to stay in and enjoy the peace and quiet. Can't wait to go back!

We had to leave too soon!

Beautiful and peaceful. Our room was back from the highway and so quiet. Our room was large and the jetted tub was wonderful. The host, Shawn, was very friendly and helpful. And it is so nice to have breakfast delivered to the room. The breakfast was very good.

Evening Shade is nestled in the trees of Eureka Springs. The manager warmly greeted us when we arrived. The cabin was beautiful. It had a fireplace and hot tub in the large room.

I will definitely stay there again when visiting. They deliver breakfast to your room at your requested time and it’s a meal not a continental breakfast. Every afternoon there was a delicious dessert on the table waiting for us when we returned. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you are ok and have what you need.

The Inn Keepers have raised our expectations of what to wish for in customer service. Breakfasts delivered each morning were delicious. Anytime we come to Eureka Springs. This will be home.
