Quality Inn Edmund Pettus Bridge Area

Its was close to a Walmart very convenient since I had to go buy extra bath towels since the attendant didn't wanna get up from her phone.

It stunk smelled like 2week old trash, the attendant did wanna work room could have been morecleaned

The floors in my room were sticky and dirty, definitely was not swept or mopped. As soon as i came in and went to the bathroom i saw a tiny roach and the mini fridge was leaking water on the floor.

Breakfast not good. Was okay but not as nice as the ratings led us to believe. Privately owned, which is not as nice as when corporate, a little run down, but not bad. Comfortable bed.

I always stay there when I come to Selma. This was the worst time for me. the kids keep me up all night running and open the door and talking loudly. Went to breakfast around 7am and the food were all gone. check out on 4/27 and their website down

I could not change my reservation date, so I paid for a room I didn't even use

The staff was nice

Our room smelled like smoke and was not cleaned very well. We had no tissues and no shampoos or soaps. This hotel felt dirty overall.

When we got there, the system was down in our room would not work. We waited for over two hours in the lobby. They had to let us in with their master key. And we did not receive keys for our room until 8 PM.

The hotel was cleaner than I had expected

The outdoor pool was not available so in the future the hotel should let everyone know because that may be a factor in choice of hotels. The fact that it was advertised with a pool and the pool is not available makes it seem a bit unscrupulous.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly and she greeted me every time she saw me in the hallway. I like that there was a free breakfast but it wasn¿t restocked to last the duration of breakfast time. There was a refrigerator and microwave.

The room was dirty & smelly. The door seemed like you could still see in the hallway after closing. The lock didn¿t make me feel secure. The pillows were the size of throw pillows. You can NOT see the bridge or any water at this hotel.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating.

Dried toothpaste on the mirror & room had a bad smell. The bathtub was stopped up. I booked this hotel because it was called Comfort Inn Edmond Pettus Bridge Area. Bridge was 3 miles away. Title is misleading.

1.Shabby worn out furniture and fixtures. 2.Shabby , Dirty and poorly kept outside. 3.Heater was up high?? and didn't work. 4.Uncarpeted floors (will relate to star rating) 5.Outside entry 6.Phone didn't work 7. only 2 lights in the room

Price and location

Breakfast terrible, microwave did not work, waffle maker did not work. Nothing but cold cereal to eat.

Reasonable price and location good. But, no elavator for 2 floor . Smell and ventalation not good.

The room definitely exceeded my expectations for the price. Not much much to do in Selma but the hotel was conveniently located off of the main hwy. It was right next to Wal-Mart and Walgreens and minutes away from Mr. Waffle and Golden Ranch BBQ.

The side door leading to the parking lot where my car was parked, would not open at night. I had to walk out the back of the hotel and walk around to my car. I'm sure its for safety reasons. No elevator. So mention if you need a room on the first floor

It was in a safe place.

The upstairs hallway smelled like it was the smoking lounge. My room fortunately did not; however, it did smell like someone had had a huge fried chicken party. The complimentary meal was very basic. The entire motel should be renovated!

Location

Hotel was dirty, had to go and buy cleaning supplies to clean toilet and bath tub. Also had bugs in microwave, reported to management. Staff was very rude. Would never stay at this hotel again.

Clerk had trouble with my reservation. Close proximity to loud traffic, not the best part of town (though there may not be a best part of Selma) hallways and common areas were in need of cleaning.
