Pros +
- Owner was very accommodating switching our room at 9 pm when we arrived. Location was great. Our room had a full kitchen. Bed was comfortable.
- Nothing! The place looked like hoarders house with piles of trash in kitchen area and other areas. Did not feel safe to stay there. We went to Hampton Inn - desk clerk told us 7 Gables is a tweeker house - meth and other drugs. Well known in community.
- Super friendly and inviting. Much more private than other b&b I've stayed in the past. The owners and staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great. We will definitely be staying there for our next week long visit in fairbanks.
Cons -
- Didn’t expect as many stairs, but also did not request a ground floor.
- Everything! The staff seemed dazed and not helpful. No elevator and no one to help with luggage up the stairs. My adult daughter and I both felt a bad vibe and not safe to stay there. We left.
- Minor issues: (1) sink did not drain, (2) shower dripped

Room was very comfortable, nice jaccuzzi, wonderful breakfasts

Very comfortable bed, cozy room
Our hostess had been ill and did not provide breakfast as advertised. She really had nothing on hand for us to make our own. We felt sorry for her, but wish she had taken some forethought.
This place wasn't necessarily in an isolated location or away from city lights but we were still able to see the Northern lights from here (I saw them from my window). They also offered free breakfast with an assortment of items for everyone.

Nylon sheets, and just, overall an older place with lots of carpet and furniture.
We liked the uniqueness of this hotel. It's like a big house with multiple levels and common spaces scattered around. There are coffee stations everywhere, which was fantastic and the staff was super friendly and accommodating.
Hotel employee was welcoming. The sheets were so soft.
The common areas are filthy. The interior felt like staying at my Grandma¿s house a month after her housekeeper quit. The room was clean, but I didn¿t trust it he cleanliness of the room enough to use the jetted tub. Awkward, quirky, dirty.
Actually, it was horrible because they gave our room to someone else and put us in a lesser room. Not the one we had payed for.
We payed for a "deluxe room" knowing it was only one queen bed. The host assumed we wanted two beds. She put us in a non deluxe room without even being consulted cause she said That's what she thought we wanted but never asked us.
This is a poorly managed motel. They do not have sound proof rooms. The tub in the bathroom was broken and dirty. Tgere is nothing good i have to say about this place.
There is nothing i liked about this place. I would not receomend it to anyone. Be careful of credit card fraud with them
A wonderful friendly b&b hotel. Welcoming and easy going atmosphere with nice living room area to hang out or visit so you don't have to stay in your room all the time. The home is surrounded by wonderful flowers and nice little spots to read or visit.
We stayed in the upstairs unit of an annex away from the main B&B. The owner was very friendly, especially considering that we were a late arrival. The unit had a full kitchen, full-sized refrigerator, and a comfortable bed -- more like an apartment!
The unit was initially hard to find (the door to the annex was not marked) and the unit was on the second floor with no elevator. There is a second building being constructed next door, and the construction noise was a bit loud during the day.
The owner! She is super friendly!
Nope!
The design is great!
The front entry to get to the office is little hard!
Yes the staff was rude and it was dirty wasnt clean before got in the room
Receptionist or Manager who received us
