Very clean, homey and the owners were so personable. Met other guests and locals who were so friendly. Really enjoyed it!

Made me feel right at home

People there are very friendly, cozy place and good atmosphere, feel comfortable and warm. Close to bus station, easy to get to downtown. I did enjoy a great time here.

The property was quaint, comfortable and quiet. The owner was very friendly and helpful with all my questions.

The place is cute. love the kitchen facilities. love the ambience. Met great people. love the ambience.

Far from city center. not easy to obtain public transport except uber. no grocery in a walking distance.

Room is clean. The owner brewed coffee every morning for guests. Kitchen is nice. A good place to social whereas enjoying Fairbanks.

The top bunk is too high and difficult to climd. Luckily I got to change to the bottom bunk on my second night.

Billie was the highlight of the trip! She was incredibly personable, and gave me good advice on areas to kayak

Eclectic feel, interesting guests, great hostess, comfortable shared spaces and slept really well.

Everything was great. No issues.

Billie was very.nice. She regularly makes coffee for her guests. When I had a jerk in my room, she listenened and a.ssigned me to another room. There is a cozy public space where we can talk. It's a perfect place to meet people.

One of staff was always busy working on her smartphone, although she helped me when I talked to her.

Billy is incredibly kind and welcoming. Really friendly atmosphere in the hostel. Quiet neighbourhood. Clean room and bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped and large. Possibility to use the hostel’s bikes for free.

Room is a bit small, and there are no lockers for storing bags in the room.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready with helpful information—whether it was about getting around, finding a terrific meal (Thai), local tips, or just making sure I felt at home. Billie herself brings such a warm, positive energy to the place, and it sets the tone for the whole vibe.What I loved most was the community atmosphere. I met travelers from all different backgrounds and age groups, and it was easy to connect. It really felt like more than just a hostel—it was a space to meet people and feel part of something bigger.

Everything was great, though the laundry cost could have been explained a bit more clearly.

Billie's is a delightful hostel - a great place to chill and enjoy the company of other travellers. We staying in a room as well as camping in the garden. Camping was on a flat grassy lawn with full use of all the facilities inside. The kitchen was very well equipped and the shower great.

Both the showers were in the same room as the toilets. A few times people were needing the toilet but long showers were keeping them unavailable. There's nothing that can really be done about this but it did seem to be an issue at times.

There were a lot of people on site. Many camping on property. Very crowded. No lines for bathrooms.

This place reminded me of my childhood. Billie extended a very warm welcome to her property. She took us around and showed us everything. This backpackers hostel is no ordinary. It's better than 5 Star Hotel, if you care for respect, kind hospitality warmth of guests and hosts is out of ordinary.
