At breakfast the hotel worker offered to make our waffles for us instead of us trying to manage the waffle maker by ourselves. We had never used one like that. I thought that was very nice of her.

An affordable hotel with a surprisingly resort feel for the price point. Great beds and room amenities. Always clean and comfortable. We've stayed here multiple times for business trips to Anaheim and will continue to book here when we visit the area.

Top Tips
- Fullerton Municipal Airport serves only general aviation, so commercial flights use John Wayne Airport (SNA), Long Beach Airport (LGB), or LAX, located 12-20 miles (19-32 km) away. Arrange ground transport in advance and verify your hotel's shuttle or pick-up service options before arrival.
- Hotel prices in Fullerton often rise 20-40% above standard rates during events at Cal State Fullerton, Disneyland holidays, or Anaheim conventions. Book your accommodation as early as possible to secure availability and lower prices.
- Compare direct hotel website rates with online travel agency (OTA) offers. If you find a lower public price, call the hotel to confirm all fees, including resort, parking, breakfast, and cancellation, and ask if they will match or surpass outside rates. Complimentary upgrades may be offered during these calls, subject to availability.
- Orange County traffic can add 20-40 minutes to drive times during peak hours (07:00-09:00 and 16:00-19:00). Confirm your hotel's parking options and daily costs, and directly ask about onsite or nearby EV charging stations—most major brands now offer at least two chargers onsite.
- If you are sensitive to noise, request a room on a higher floor, on the side away from the 91 Freeway and rail lines. Avoid pool- or street-facing rooms to minimize evening noise; most hotels will accommodate quiet room requests if asked at booking.
- For reliable work connectivity, ask about upgraded Wi-Fi, signal strength by room, and the availability of wired (Ethernet) lines. Business and premium-brand hotels typically include a complimentary business center with printers and at least one meeting room, but verify access policies if required.
- Standard U.S. tipping applies: leave $2-$5 per night for housekeeping and for bell service per bag, $2-$5 for valet when retrieving your car, and $5-$15 for concierge help with complex bookings. Tip in U.S. dollars, cash preferred; some staff may accept digital tips if cash isn't possible—check hotel policy if unsure.
- Solo and all travelers benefit from 24-hour front desks, keycard-access elevators, and well-lit parking, which are standard among major hotel chains in Fullerton. When staying downtown for nightlife, confirm these safety features before booking.
- If traveling with family, request complimentary cribs, pack-n-plays, extra bedding, or connecting rooms at booking—major hotel brands offer these but peak date availability is limited. For accessibility, reserve an accessible room (with step-free shower, visual alarms) early and specify any accessibility preferences or devices for best accommodation, as these rooms are in high demand.
- Explore Fullerton’s downtown venues within a 2 km (1.2 mi) radius by asking your hotel concierge about local restaurants, breweries, and live music. Disneyland Park is a 10-15 minute drive (6-9 km); staff can provide best driving routes or schedule rideshare pick-ups.
- Typical hotel check-in starts at 3 PM, with check-out by 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may incur a fee of $15-$75—ask the front desk for current policy and confirm when your incidentals deposit will be released after check-out.
- Bring a government-issued photo ID and major credit card for check-in, as all U.S. hotels require these for incidentals. If using a debit card, ask the front desk to specify the hold amount (often $50-$200; higher holds may apply for suites or extended stays) and how long until funds are released.
